Linking up as always with Shay, Sheaffer, and Mel to share all that we’ve been up to this month!
What we’re eating this week…
I made up a couple Fall treats over the weekend so we’ve been enjoying all the yummy things! Chocolate Banana Zucchini Muffins & Pumpkin Whoppie Pies π Plus Potato Soup using potatoes from our garden!
What I’m reminiscing about…
My husband and I were just talking about how we’re coming up on 2 years of owning the Corvette!
What I’m loving…
This cooler weather!
What we’ve beenΒ upΒ to…
This month we traveled to KC, celebrated our 4th Anniversary, Ron made a trip to Colorado for work, we got to see Baby Boy M., and welcomed Fall!
What I’m dreading…
Those darn leaves that will require raking soon
What I’m working on…
All things baby! We’ve got our registries set, details of the baby shower working out, and a nursery ready to be filled!
What I’m excited about…
I’m looking forward more fall activities like getting to an apple orchard & indulging in some warm donuts.
What I’m watching/reading…
This Is Us has returned and Grey’s Anatomy is back too – another reason to love Fall! π
A blog reader suggested reading Cottage by the Sea recently, I found it available on audiobook at my library and loved it – thanks Laurie!
What I’m listening to…
Lauren Daigle’s newest album on repeat, every song is just so good!
What I’m wearing…
My new favorite fall shirt π I also purchased a couple maternity dresses and I’m having fun figuring out how to style them for fall & winter – I wear this one for my weekly bump picture and Kristi inspired me to layer with a kimono as as spin on her poncho look she shared last week!
What I’m doing this weekend…
We’re headed to my parents house this weekend so that we can get family pictures taken – we always dread having to put together outfits and sometimes wake up at the crack of dawn but I love having these to look back on year after year <3
What I’m looking forward to next month…
What else is new…
I’ve resisted buying ALL the baby things because I know we’ll like have plenty but the shoes have been tough for me lol. Just after we found out we were having a boy I bought these Adidas Sambas & surprised my husband with them – this is is favorite, daily, go-to shoe like we think he has had at least 7 pairs in the last 10 years – so I had to have matching ones for our little guy π
BONUS: What is your favorite pumpkin drink or food…
I’d have to say a Pumpkin Roll is my fave! PumpkinΒ + cream cheese filling is just a winning combo, that is why I love makes these Pumpkin Whoopie Pies every year because they’re like a roll just a little easier to grab & go.

I LOVE seeing your bump pictures-ahhh! You look so great π So…my mouth is watering at your pumpkin whoopie pies- they look incredible- will you share the recipe? Are they difficult to make? Happy Fall Rechelle! π
Rechelle says
Thanks Holly! I think the Whoopie Pies aren’t too bad, there are a few steps but nothing difficult (I just scoop the batter using a spoon & roll it and spread the filling on rather than piping either) http://www.momfessionals.com/2013/10/mini-pumpkin-cream-pies.html
