January: Started off 2016 in my favorite spot in the world. We snuggled in a lot to keep warm and Ron headed to The 24 Hours of Daytona.
February: We got a big snow and ice storm which called for a snow day for mom & dad! The beags escaped the fence and we went to the vet.
March: We made a trip to Arizona for Easter. This was one of my favorite trips to AZ, the weather was perfect and we had so much fun with little plans.
April: We bought our Cruze! This was a purchase that was a long time coming. Seriously I think I had looked up that we started emailing about buying a car in February of 2015 haha!
May: Made our annual trip to a Tigers game for Mother’s Day! This game is always hit or miss, we’ve had years where it was raining and freezing cold or other years when its sunny and hot. Thankfully this year was a good weather year!
June: I launched Our Home with Hounds! We spent a lot of time enjoying the weather outside. Made it to another Tigers game! John came to visit and took some great photos of Hank & Hal.
July: ย We all celebrated birthdays! First mine, then Hank & Hal, and finally Ron. Took some great family photos. And made it to another Tigers game!
August: August marked our 7th year together. We spent lots of time with Hank & Hal! I harvested a ton of flowers each week from our garden.
September: We celebrated our 2nd year of marriage with a trip to Pittsburgh. We also started to repaint our deck.
October: Finished up the deck painting. And spent as much time as we could with our new car, even Hank and Hal were excited! We also got in some good time on our new favorite trails.
November: We had many pretty sunrises on the way to work. Enjoyed celebrating Thanksgiving twice! Of course there was Gilmore Girls too ๐
December: This month was full of twinkle lights, snuggles, and hot cocoa. Perfection!
CHEERS TO 2017!

Ummm was that a birthday cake with root beer barrels on it? Do tell!
Rechelle says
Yes! Good eye ? My mom and sister made me a root beer cake for my birthday, it called for root beer extract. I believe they found the recipe on Pinterest! They had the idea to add the barrels and it was the perfect touch ?
