Hello friends! This week’s posts are all sorts of holiday themed and I don’t mind it one bit! Tomorrow is Friday for us and then we’ll be celebrating Christmas early with my family since we’ll be in AZ this time next week, EEKS! Today I am linking up with Shay & Erika for Workin’ It Wednesday as well as Sarah & Victoria for The Most Wonderful Time of the Year link up! Lots to discuss today 😉
First up is keeping sane during the holidays. I’d say most of this relies on planning ahead and also being forgiving. I am a planner, I start thinking about Christmas gifts in October or even September sometimes. I’ll pick stuff up as I see it – sure I love a good deal and those don’t usually start until closer to Thanksgiving but I love not worrying about gifts around the holidays even more!
I’ve shared a couple posts about planning for the holidays and then hosting them as well. If you’re hosting don’t feel like you’ve gotta do it all, ask others to bring dishes or buy some at the store! Go easy on yourself and don’t over commit to things. Grab a cup of hot cocoa, maybe add a little Bailey’s, and just enjoy your Christmas tree or a festive movie!

NOW, if you need some recipes for those holiday parties I’ve got a few that are tried & true!
This is a new one for us but it quickly went to the top of everyone’s list! I made this Bubbly Spinach Goat Cheese Dip over Thanksgiving and we couldn’t get enough of it! My sister even asked for the recipe later so she could make it for a holiday party with her ladies.
I also made these Bacon Ranch Pinwheels over Thanksgiving and they were super easy! They were good for snacking but we even took some of the leftovers for lunch the following week since I made a double batch and they were excellent.

We always have to have fondue at Thanksgiving & Christmas! I don’t necessarily follow a specific recipe but this one is basically how I make it. With some crusty bread, meat, & veggies on the side it is SO good! Find our fondue pot here.
What are you tips and tricks for staying sane during the holidays? Or do you have a go to holiday party recipe?
