I shared my Christmas decor on Monday and missed out on sharing our little weekend. So today I’m backtracking to winding down our weekend!
We always make sure to dedicate time to these two.
I know I share many pictures of them sleeping (they’re just too cute and sweet) but most times they look like this, causing chaos!
I hit up Target and took advantage of their 40% off cold accessories cartwheel coupon. We have a “Warm Things” tree at work in which we are collecting hats, gloves, scarves, and socks to donate to others in the community. I put together bundles for a family of mom, dad, brother, and sister. While I have no way of knowing if they’ll stay together I thought it was fun to do up, I even tried to coordinate the little girl to match mom and the little boy to match dad! 🙂
Sundays are probably my favorite, they feel so relaxed and ordinary. We always meal plan and then grocery shop, just going about our day however we wish. Sunday night I had one of those moments that I want to always remember and treasure. I prepared dinner and sang along as Ronald played music on his guitar. Of course Hank and Hal were at my feet begging for another carrot.
When people ask what marriage is I’d describe the scene above, at least its one of my favorite things about being married! Also, if you’re looking for a healthier sloppy joe recipe check this one out. Don’t be afraid to add in more veggies either, its my easy and sneaky way of getting more veggies into our meals!
FInally, I made some banana bread on Monday night. I scrolled Pinterest and found this recipe that is a real winner! I made these 2 loaves plus 4 mini loaves not pictured.
