Winding Down the Weekend

We had quite the lowkey weekend but it went by WAY too quickly, counting down the days until our Christmas break! Saturday morning started out with ALL the snuggles, Hal decided he wasn’t quite close enough to me so he had to move a little closer 😉

I changed up my phone background for December, not sure I’ll keep it all month but I’m enjoying Snoopy & the heartfelt saying for now.

Saturday was a good mail day! I received my May Designs planner and thought it would be fun to dig out all my previous ones to see them from the past years. I love these planners because they are small enough that I can easily tuck it in my purse and carry it with me but large enough that I can write everything I need to and even tuck a few papers in the pages when necessary.

I also received a Secret Santa package in the mail! I joined in a secret santa exchange for this Christmas organized by my sorority’s chapter and it was so exciting picking a gift to give and I received this BEAUTIFUL hedgehog mug & plate from Anthropologie!!!

I also got a few gifts wrapped up this weekend so our tree looks even a little more festive 😉

Sunday we made a trip to visit one of Ron’s grandmas and she has the sweetest Scottie, we <3 McGruff! I picked up the flowers while grocery shopping and arranged them in a mason jar as a small gift too. Then of course upon returning home Hank had to thoroughly inspect the gift we had received lol!

Lastly I bought myself a Christmas cactus at the grocery store too and then later on as I was scrolling facebook noticed in a succulent group that I’m in that I think I actually have a Thanksgiving cactus, oh well!
