We had a rainy & chilly weekend but tried to make the best of it! Saturday was full of errands & browsing some stores.
We made sure to fit in a walk between the rain with the beags too and then ended the night cozied up, watching Harry Potter.
Sunday morning we went to the movies then home to catch the Formula 1 race. I grocery shopped quick in between there too 😉
After breakfast I had also whipped up some sugar cookie dough to refrigerate throughout the day. After dinner, stuffed acorn squash, I baked half the dough & we frosted the cookies. Now we’ve got dough in the freezer for another rainy day!
For Christmas my mom had a friend make some really pretty signs for our homes, having my Grandma’s sugar cookie recipe on display is not only special but I’ve enjoyed making them more often & always love keeping half in the freezer for the next time 🙂
We ended our weekend with the best <3

My kids have been watching Harry Potter too. We finally finished reading all of the books together!

So fun! My sister left us her collection of the movies the last time she was at our house so we’ve been watching them over the last month!

What a great weekend, despite the weather! MUST WALK DOGS DESPITE RAIN… so snuggly on the sofa – I had my 70 pound pit bull asleep on my lap for a while last night. I was so relaxed rubbing her and watching Hallmark Christmas movies! Love that sugar cookie recipe sign – how long do you cook them and at what temp… I’m going to “steal” it from you! Enjoy the week – hope you’re feeling good.

Yes, it really was and so true, the dogs require walking regardless 😉 Your weekend sounds so cozy too, love it! I bake my cookies @ 350F for 8-10 minutes depending how thick you roll your dough, mine are closer to 1/4″. ENJOY!
