Happy May Day! 
We had a rainy weekend but still enjoyed it and were quite productive too. I checked some more big items off my spring cleaning list, like scrubbing the microwave, oven, toaster oven, and fridge/freezer! While Ron worked away in the garage and the beags looked like this…they are unimpressed with the rain.
But this rain helped our pretty tree open a few blooms!!!
Sunday we were took it pretty slow. My husband is a fan of Formula One Racing and actually I’ve become one too, so every other Sunday morning we watch the race together and I was quite nervous/anxious this week for the start and then again as it was ending! Never would have thought I’d be in to motorsports but I guess that is what love does to ya 😉
Then Ron and I got around and headed out for a lunch date that involved Mexican food and grocery shopping!
We hit up Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s for some of our favorites. TJ’s was out of Joe Joe cookie butter and I almost cried lol, so we got a few new snacks/treats to try!
And you know I couldn’t pass up the $4 flowers! These things make me happy to see in my kitchen everyday and I can usually get them to last 2 weeks so its a win and the perfect kick off to May!
My weekend wrapped up with these two, as it should! Hank loves to curl up between my legs and Hal never stops playing 🙂
