Wind Down the Weekend - My Latest Shopping Finds

My in-laws are in town! My husband picked up his parents later in the afternoon on Saturday and then we headed to dinner. We really enjoyed our time with them and unfortunately that meant I forgot to grab pictures of our weekend. It was fabulous though!! We ate great food both Saturday & Sunday and truly took in spending time together. Of course Hank & Hal loved the extra attention too, plus the new toys they received and destroyed nearly instantly 🙂

I did receive my first box of Nordstrom goodies though! Here are the details and what I’m keeping so far.

These LuckyBrand booties are the best ever! They have been raved about and featured by just about ever blogger and they have absolutely lived up to their ratings. I’m for sure keeping these and can not wait for the weather to cool down so I can actually wear them. Out of stock online but keep checking back on stock in case of returns 😉

I so badly wanted to love this Calson dress. It is the softest comfiest material! Unfortunately it is on its way back to Nordstrom though. It just didn’t fit right, the top was too baggy on me but I know a smaller size would have been too tight around the hips, so I just had to let it go.

This BP shirt is going to be perfect for fall! It it long enough to provide coverage for wearing leggings and it will layer great. I can’t wait to pair it with cardigans and scarves in a few months. It does run large and is also available in solid colors.

I wasn’t sure about these Wit & Wisdom jeans but wanted to add another bootcut to my closet so I figured they were worth a shot. WOW! They are SO incredibly soft, have the best stretch and the ‘ab-solution’ technology is so very flattering! I ordered another pair of jeans to try as well so we will see which I end up keeping, but these are a surprising great contender.

I also wanted to share a new brand I’ve fallen in love with from Target. Since my hubby was picking up his parents I made a quick run to my favorite store, plus I had a gift card from my birthday to spend! This brand isn’t available online at Target and sadly I haven’t seen it available in every store, but Knox Rose quickly became a brand I check out on every visit! I found these first 2 shirts a month or so ago on clearance and that is what got me hooked. So of course I knew I wanted to add a couple more pieces to my closet with my birthday money.
