It was a weekend well spent with our hounds! Most of the weekend looked like this:
Of course until the Hank decided to spice things up a little. We caught him digging 2 holes around the stairs of the deck and of course yelled at him. Then we bathed him since he was a muddy mess. Well he returned outside just to crawl through the holes and under the stairs and Hal followed suit! I heard a howl for help and went outside to find them stuck. With some convincing Hal came out no problem but Hank was legitimately stuck, the hole was big enough to go in but not back out. So, we grabbed the shovel and rescued him. I had to LOL when Ron posted this video on FB, for this reason #ThatsNotWhatWeMeantByRescued 😉
Then it was off to the dog park! An inside look, this is how we ride for longer distances in the car and especially in the summer. Hank tends to go back and forth from the front to the back and it just gets annoying to have him all over my lap. So I give up shot-gun for him, mostly he tries to ride on the center console though and well, he just isn’t the most graceful.
They thoroughly enjoyed themselves and were worn right out for much of the rest of the day! Win-Win 🙂 And I just love their tongues hanging out with a smile on and ears flopping!
Headed back home and not even out of the parking lot at the dog park!
We all had to participate in family nap time upon arriving home, Ronald joined in too but I snapped this pic and was out before he even laid down!
We love a relaxing weekend at home spent with our Beagle Pack! <3 Hope you had a good one too, here’s to another week!
