Wind Down the Weekend: FAMILY PICTURES!

November 5, 2018 by Rechelle 10 Comments

Oh what a weekend! Saturday started early for me, I was up & off to take my glucose screening test for my pregnancy. Thankfully the drink solution wasn’t at all as terrible as I was expecting, 3 pokes and many hours later I was off to meet hubby for lunch. I took magazines & a book with me to keep me busy while I waited an hour between each blood draw but I was happy to be done and FINALLY able to eat!

The day was mostly filled with errands around the house & just relaxing in between. Of course we took the beags for a walk too! It was chilly with the wind but the sun & leaves made it worth it πŸ™‚

Sunday I tackled laundry – I did 1 load of just our clothes, all of our bedding (including pillows), and I sorted through taking all the tags off baby clothes to wash them as well! I literally did laundry ALL day long!

PLUS we got our family pictures back and to say I am obsessed might be an understatement!!! Lynzee always does the BEST job and I just love this annual tradition <3 Can not wait to have her do our maternity pictures taken in December and then EEKS, newborn photos next year!!!

Good Monday to you and your family! Your family pictures are beautiful! Look at all the baby stuff! I also did a lot of laundry in the form of ironing. Don’t know how I got so far behind… 3hours of it, while watching tv. How did you fare the time change… it just seems to get harder each time… the dog and I slept an extra hour and our stomachs were not happy. Lol. Have a good week!

Thanks Laurie! Glad to know I wasn’t the only one doing laundry all weekend πŸ˜‰ The beags don’t know what time change is so we were up at 5:30 instead of our usual 6:30 on the weekends, but that’s okay because it just gave us more time to enjoy the day! Though of course at 4:30p their bellies were telling them it was dinner time and we typically don’t feed them until 5:30p, so that we met in the middle at 5p for dinner πŸ˜‰

Thank Dara! I think the lemon lime flavor & the fact that my drink was ice cold helped A LOT for me, but I can totally see how the sweetness could make people sick, yikes!
