We so enjoyed our weekend! It was a little cooler but the temps & weather were perfect!! On Friday Ron had to go in to work, some of the work he does requires he be in a work vehicle to collect data, so he had to go on site to work to get in a car. So I had my Mom come over to care for Ro while I could still work from home…a major bonus was that we grabbed lunch and at a picnic in a nearby park!!
Saturday morning started with a little boy putting on his own ear protection to not so subtly let us know that he wanted to ride the lawn mower lol! So of course I took him out to the lawn mower to just sit on it.
I made some more meals for another friend who had a baby last week, Ro had the privilege of licking the mixer paddle from the cookie dough!
This little shadow profile was just the sweetest before bedtime <3
Then I hung outside with Hank & McGruff for a bit Saturday evening after putting Ro to bed while I read my book.
Sunday morning we ate a yummy breakfast!! We couldn’ t keep Ro’s plate filled enough!
I spent a little time in the garden cleaning things up, listening to an audiobook while Ro napped.
And then we spent the majority of the time outside! Ro usually walks us all over the yard…we open & close the fence gate a hundred times, then he’ll ask to swing, we’ll check out the slide or the sandbox, go for a couple laps around the yard in the wagon, and of course we always have to check on the lawn mower in the shed lol
He did master climbing up his puppy chair on to the ottoman this weekend so that was fun & we definitely have to keep a very close eye on him now!
We finished the weekend with veggie tostadas followed by going in & out of the slider door several hundred times before bath time & bed.
OH my gosh…the pictures in the swing? He is edible! Yeah for getting your garden going…you always do a great job Rechelle 🙂

Beautiful pictures! Hope all of you are healthy. Does Michigan require face mask 😷 when venturing out of your home space? It’s required here, Supposedly 30 ft from my household. It’s 20 feet to my mailbox! Required in my office – if I leave my desk, I need to wear a mask.
Thank you Laurie! We are all doing well! Michigan does require face masks outside of the home, I’ve found when grocery shopping though that only about half actually do, so it doesn’t seem to be enforced well. While my husband & I are still working from home both of our employers require employees on site to wear masks at all times no matter what! It sure is tricky navigating it all right now…
