Wind Down the Weekend

Monday you come too soon…we had a FUN & EXCITING weekend over here! Fridays are always the best because Ro spends the day with grandma which means we get pictures of him throughout the day 🙂

Saturday we didn’t do too much just hung around the house doing a little tidying up. I made chocolate play dough that smelled SO GOOD (but tasted not so good lol) and we mixed up some recipes for a bit. Plus we got outside for a walk since it was sunny & gorgeous though a bit windy.

Then Saturday night Ro stayed with a babysitter for the very first time while Ron & I went out to a small concert. Of course it would happen that the venue lost power but thankfully the crew pulled together and the artist was thrilled to perform acoustic by candlelight. It actually turned out to be a magical night!!

Finally, on Sunday McGruff joined our clan! McGruff was my husband’s grandparent’s beloved Scottie, after Ron’s grandma passed last year McGruff’s Vet actually took him in. But recently he became at odds with one of the cats in the home and it just was not working anymore. We felt that if it were us we would sincerely hope that family would step in to care for our beloved Hank & Hal, so McGruff found home with us! He’ll be 13 in May and we hope that he settles in just fine at the beagle ranch with us to live out the rest of his days! We’re all transitioning and figuring it out but so far day one has been quite successful. We even got out for another walk in the glorious weather to round out the weekend <3
