Doing double duty with today’s post, sharing our weekend AND a throwback of past Valentine’s Days to link up with Ashley @ Adventures with Ella Marie.
On Saturday we made a big trip to Trader Joe’s for some of our favorites, as well as a quick stop at Whole Foods for a couple favorites there too! TJ is about 45 minutes from us so we don’t get there a whole lot. We also decided to stop by the mall to hit up Build a Bear Workshop so that Ro could get a birthday bear, they have a birthday program where for the duration of your child’s birth month you can get a special bear and just pay the age of your child. So $1 for a bear was a no brainer!
On Sunday I gave Ro his first haircut! We really went back & forth on cutting his hair before his 1 year pictures and then ultimately I just decided to go for it lol. I’ve been cutting Ron’s hair for a few years now, really just taught myself by watching YouTube videos so I did the same before cutting Ro’s and I think it went well! He looks SO handsome and so BIG now <3
Sunday was gorgeous so we all got out for a walk! And then enjoyed a little spread of our own for Superbowl Sunday 🙂
Now to share a few throwbacks to Valentine’s past…this of course was last year with our brand new Valentine!
The year before last, we got out for a walk after work and treated the dogs to some new toys and even a special bone!
And then from 2017…I love making the simple cinnamon rolls from a can a little more festive by shaping them in to hearts & dying the icing!
Well you might just need to open up your on salon on the side- just saying 😉 Such a beautiful boy and his haircut came out perfect! Umm those cinnamon rolls looks completely delish!
Lol!! I am by no means a professional barber, just a lot of YouTube videos on how to do it and trial & error over the last few years cutting Ron’s hair 😉
How beautiful is your family! love Ro’s new teddy bear (the colorful feet!), his Buzz Lightyear outfit, and his handsome haircut. Can’t wait to read about his first birthday. Woof and arooooo to the beagles! 😄🐾❤️
