Woo what a weekend!! We finally had a free weekend and were all feeling better (or so I thought) so we took advantage & participated in some fall activities!Β Friday evening we got out for a little family adventure and then that night Ron & I finally started the new season of Peaky Blinders π
Saturday morning we headed to a small local pumpkin patch and it was the best!! We also got to check out their chickens after we picked a pumpkin each <3
Then we went to the Farmer’s Market and grabbed some lunch too.
I picked the few pumpkins from our garden and set those out too π
Then all of a sudden in the evening as we were getting ready to sit down for dinner I noticed Ro seemed quite warm so I checked his temp & sure enough he had a fever. We gave him some Tylenol but he just became increasingly fussy so I had to hold him while we ate. A while later before we were going to put him to bed we checked his temp again and it had gone up considerably! So we found ourselves at urgent care π A breathing treatment for some minor wheezing & a script for antibiotics for an ear infection later we were headed home and sure glad to have a cookie from the farmer’s market to cap off the rough night.
Sunday was a whole lot of snuggles! Thankfully though through it all Ro has had pretty good spirits, honestly I would never even guess he was sick. We felt so bad for missing it but really other than the sudden fever & irritability he was the happiest baby EVER all darn week so we had no way of knowing! Here’s to better health for us all!!! <3

Poor Ronald! Ear infections are no joke! And I can’t even tell you the number of times Sierra had one and we never knew it, so don’t feel bad for not catching it. It’s just one of those things that come out of seemingly nowhere.
And OMG that pic of Ronald in the wagon is adorable!

Awww… great pics of the weekend – faces, attire, dogs, surroundings! So sorry your little boy was under the weather again. Hang in there, parents… Looking forward to hear about your first Halloween with Ro.

Despite the sickness, it all looks perfect- those pumpkin patch pictures are Christmas card worthy! Can we just talk about his two bottom teeth for a sec? Oh my word- he is the cutest! Hang in there Mama- the first year is the worst with sicknesses because of daycare BUT they build the strongest immunities and end up being the healthiest kids in elementary school- we went through the same thing here- he gets better! XOXO

Hehe yes we had fun at the pumpkin patch! He’s got 3 on the bottom now & one up top, so cute! Everyone tells me it is building his immunity so I’m hoping it will be worth it later. Thanks Holly!!

The whole time I was looking at your pictures I was thinking how happy Ro looked! He definitely didn’t look like he felt sick so don’t feel like you missed it. Ear infections are easy to miss – my 12 year old had one last year that we totally didn’t realize about!!

Awe! I’ve heard ear infections can be so sneaky, thanks for the support Dara π
