We’ve been making the most of our weekends lately, checking things off our lists and being productive. Of course we also fit in some fun too 😉 We mapped out a bit more of how we’d like to furnish/decorate the nursery, selected some pieces to buy and then went out to pick some of it up!
We got together with some of my husband’s side of the family for dinner on Saturday to celebrate some cousin birthdays! It was fun catching up with everyone!
Then we promptly headed to stay at my parents house for the night since we had family pictures rescheduled from a couple weeks ago for Sunday morning.
Lynzee has been our family photographer for YEARS! She took my sister’s senior photos and we’ve been getting family photos every year since. Lynzee took our engagement & wedding photos as well, I can’t wait for her to capture this next step in our lives with the addition of Baby M!!! We’ll likely get some maternity photos in December but it was fun to get a couple now too 😉
Tomorrow we celebrate 5 years with Hank! Sometimes it feels like so much longer than 5 years & other times I don’t know how is it already 5 years like we just got him yesterday! I’ve shared here about how we became a beagle pack and I shared a few dog mom fails here as well lol.
We’ve learned with Hank that just when we think we’ve got everything covered he’ll be up to something else that we don’t expect! He has escaped the yard multiple times even though we have an invisible electric fence along with a physical fence, he’s gotten butter off the counter & then from in the cupboard when we hid it (WITH childproof locks!), he’s dug holes to get under our deck & found himself stuck again multiple times, and even recently after 5 years of not a single occurrence he broke into the treat cupboard & ate 4 packages of treats! HA, always keeping us on our toes and we just love him so!!
