Last Wednesday my husband headed out for business travel and doesn’t return until this Wednesday so I’ve been on my own, well with the beagles too of course! Here is a little peek at what we did this weekend 🙂 Friday evening we went for a walk, their beagle noses are always working!
Saturday looked a whole lot like this <3 My stomach wasn’t feeling so great so we just took it easy, Hank & Hal don’t always understand rest or taking things slow but they were great with me thankfully!
Sunday morning the beags treated me to some breakfast hehe 😉
Then while I got to work cleaning out the guest room & office, Hank & Hal mostly just made themselves comfortable HA!
So Sunday evening I made sure to take them on an adventure! We walked through trails for almost 3 miles and then of course rewarded ourselves with ice cream!
It turned out to be a really great weekend! Even working on this post last night was perfection <3

What a great weekend with the Beagle Boys. Hope you’re feeling better. I noticed that you have a lot of pillows and blankets on your sofa; your dogs love to snuggle with them… my dog loves to snuggle too. Are your blankets hand made? Have a good week!
I am much better Laurie, thank you! Yes, Hank & Hal love getting cozy – give them ALL the blankets & pillows hehe. These particular blankets were thrifted, but definitely still hand made, my mom & grandma crochet though so we have lots of hand made items throughout our home 🙂

I love low-key weekends with my dogs and when walks are involved, it’s an exceptionally good weekend!!! Love their faces when you’re about to give them ice cream. They are ready!!
