Winding Down Our Weekend

We’ve been having the best weekends lately and productive too! On Friday we had an OB appointment and since it was our first in the 3rd trimester they did all our teaching (talking about birth plan, labor signs, remaining tests/expectations, etc.) so it was a longer appointment. But we still were out earlier than we would have been had we worked all day so we stopped at Starbucks for a little afternoon date then home to surprise the beags!

To be honest though I fell asleep Friday night by 8pm! MY husband played a VR racing simulator game while the rest of us snuggled in on the guest bed and one second I said I was getting sleepy and I guess the next I was OUT – definitely needed sleep this weekend because then on Sunday I slept in until 8a, which I literally could not tell you the last time I’ve ever slept in that late as we’re morning people (plus I typically go to bed around 9p) and I may have even slept longer but my hubby came in to check on me and I decided I better wake up lol!

I spent the weekend working around the house – changing out pictures frames, bedding & more baby laundry, organizing the nursery. While Ron made a ton of progress organizing the garage and helping me in the nursery a bit too. (I promise once we get the nursery mostly completed, I’ll reveal more)

We met friends for dinner & some glow in the dark mini golf that was a lot of FUN too!

I even got our Christmas cards ordered, as well as a few more Christmas gifts, and started in on thank you’s from the baby shower! Feeling great and ready for a short week and spending time with family <3
