What we’re eating this week…
Keeping it simple as it is still pretty hot here this week and I’d like to avoid using the oven. We’ve got Sloppy Joe’s, Chicken Quesadillas, and Grilled Pizza on the menu this week!
What I’m reminiscing about…
Last September around this time we had just sold our Corvette and then pretty soon after bought out Forever Vette! We haven’t driven it in almost a year and Ron is working SO hard to finish it up so we can get in a couple rides in this year.
What I’m loving…
Even though Fall officially started last week it has been in the 80s all week, we’re enjoying it though!
What we’ve been up to…
September was a busy one for us! We spent a week celebrating our anniversary in Denver, see those recaps here, here, and here.
And Ron wrote a lovely guest post for our anniversary that you can read here.
My faves this month were the Jason Isbell concert we went to and then a little later in the month to see Sturgill Simpson! SO MUCH FUN!
What I’m dreading…
Those leaves have started falling and unfortunately the trees around us will continue loosing their leaves well into to December when snowfall comes.
What I’m working on…
I’m already starting to think ahead on Christmas gifts, I much prefer to have plenty of time to think of gifts and get them purchased than to have to cram it all in one month. It allows me to enjoy the holiday season a little more plus it spreads out our spending over a couple months.
What I’m excited about…
All things Fall & Halloween!
What I’m watching/reading…
Grey’s Anatomy is back!!! We also finished up season 1 of This Is Us and are trying to keep up with that too 🙂 I’m reading another Hilderbrand novel currently …P.S. come back on Friday for my September book review.
What I’m listening to…
So September was AWESOME for music for us! We saw Jason Isbell and then Sturgill Simpson in concert. We’re listening to lots of Macklemore right now since he just released his new album last week!
What I’m wearing…
I shared a post earlier this month about transitioning my wardrobe from summer to fall, you can see that here.
What I’m doing this weekend…
Ron has class and we’ll just keep working on the finishing the Vette!
What I’m looking forward to next month…
All things fall! Halloween is my favorite time.
What else is new…
I scored these two jackets at Target on clearance for $9 each!! They are light and will be perfect for transitioning into fall and again in the spring.
Bonus Question: What TV show are you most looking forward to this fall?
I love Grey’s and probably watch it the most consistently, however I think I’m more excited for This Is Us since we literally just finished watching season 1 two days ago!
