Oh my goodness only one month left in the year, linking up to share our November with Sheaffer & Shay!
What we’re eating this week…
Certainly for Thanksgiving we’ll be having turkey, potatoes, other sides, & desserts! Which usually means I keep it really simple the rest of the week and of course utilize leftovers after the holiday!
What I’m reminiscing about…
Last year when our Elf, Darby, arrived Thanksgiving weekend!
What I’m loving…
Homemade popcorn. I put some ghee in the bottom of a pan to melt, then add a few kernels, once those pop I add all the kernels & keep shaking the pot while it all pops. The ghee adds the yummy butter flavor so I don’t have to add any after, then I just sprinkle with RealSalt Popcorn Salt. YUMMM!
What we’ve been up to…
Ron introduced Ro to rides around the house on his back and he LOVES it & never wants to stop, ha!
What I’m dreading…
All the darn leaves! We’ve been doing yard work but it’s like our yard doesn’t look like we have been lol.
What I’m working on…
Hopefully getting back to sharing posts more, even if just once a week!
What I’m excited about…
I am excited to decorate for Christmas & really feel the festive cheer, hoping to get to put a few decorations up soon! I love cozying up with a mug of cocoa & twinkle lights 🙂
What I’m watching/reading…
Not watching a whole lot of anything on TV these days, just watching a busy toddler around the house! I did reach & then surpass my reading goal this month. A recent read that I really loved was Clap When You Land by Elizabeth Acevedo – such unique writing & the audiobook was excellent!!
What I’m listening to…
We’ve been pulling out our Charlie Brown Christmas vinyl on the record player 😉
What I’m wearing…
Allll the holiday socks! I love themed socks and I have so many Christmas/Winter ones so I start early to make sure I can thoroughly enjoy wearing them all.
What I’m doing this weekend…
We’ll just be home, like most every other weekend this year lol
What I’m looking forward to next month…
Definitely the holidays! And getting some time off to spend home with my family <3
What else is new…
I’ve been taking virtual yoga classes the last couple months just once or twice a week and have loved it! Great time to myself and to be active.

Your elf’s arrival last year looks so fun! And we had dealt with all of our leaves and then found out our neighbour put out her back. So we raked fifteen bags of leaves for her on Sunday and my arms still hurt. So I feel you with your leaves.

So kind of you to rake your neighbors leaves too!
