And just like that it is nearly December, linking up with Sheaffer, Shay, & Mel for my favorite What’s Up Wednesday post of the month!
What we’re eating this week…
Keeping it easy after the busy holiday weekend. We’ll be having leftovers for certain one night, an Asian beef recipe that we had on the menu last week but didn’t eat and make your own chicken burrito bowls, filling in with pasta, and pizza for quick, easy meals the rest of the week.
What I’m reminiscing about…
I’m thinking I’ll donate my hair again before baby arrives in January which has me reminiscing on how short it was! I donated 18 inches to Wigs for Kids in February 2017, I don’t think I’ll have quite as much this time around.
What I’m loving…
Sitting among all the twinkle lights at night <3
What we’ve beenย upย to…
My husband has been hard at work cleaning up & organizing the garage! While inside we’ve been at work on the nursery, building some storage shelving.
What I’m dreading…
On Monday we got our first big snow and I’m just not looking forward to my first winter of driving myself to work since we stopped carpooling earlier this Spring.
What I’m working on…
Finishing up our Christmas shopping, and once it all arrives in the mail, getting it wrapped!
What I’m excited about…
I’m getting so excited for our maternity pictures coming up in just over 2 weeks! We got some family pictures done last month and the couple that my hubby & I posed for alone are some of my FAVORITES!
What I’m watching/reading…
I’ve been listening to Christmas themed audiobooks & even have a few physical books checked out too! Watching Christmas movies on Netflix & Prime too ๐
What I’m listening to…
Bring on ALLLLLL the Christmas music!
What I’m wearing…
Comfy clothes only for this preggo! ๐
What I’m doing this weekend…
We don’t have any set plans as of yet, probably will just take it easy around home and maybe even catch the new Fantastic Beasts movie.
What I’m looking forward to next month…
Christmas of course! Oh and next month we’ll be able to start saying that we’re having a baby the following month, though I have a feeling being due at the end of January that Baby Boy M might not arrive until Febuary;)
What else is new…
ALLLLLLL the BlackFriday/Cyber Monday things we ordered over the holiday weekend are starting to arrive! I grabbed a couple hats for Baby Boy M that I had been eyeing, his dad has quite the collection of hats so I figured it was fitting to get started on baby’s too ๐
Another thing we picked up during all the sales were helmets for us, the Vette should be track ready next year and now we’re prepared to ride along!
What have YOU been up to this month?
Holly Breton @ Pink Lady says
The baby hats are adorable but your race hats take the cake- hysterical! I love sitting by the tree too- nothing better this time of year!

I was dying laughing on Monday night when we got them, glad you found the humor too LOL!

I donated about 14 inches to Wigs for Kids right around the time you did! Too funny. You look adorable with short hair! I love how your maternity pics turned out ๐
Rechelle says
That is crazy cool Shannon! Thanks ๐

How can it be the end of November?! So much to love about your post. I wasnโt reading your blog in Feb 2017 because of the hair donation… you look so pretty with your shorter hair! You are beautiful now, too, both inside and out, and expecting a little human. I have the Debbie Macomber book but havenโt read it yet. And the helmets – your opening pic startled me! ๐
Rechelle says
Thank you so much Laurie!!! I think that was the shortest my hair had ever been since I was like 4 years old ๐ I am LOVING Debbie Macomber’s Christmas books, I read one last year for the first time and was so excited to get back to some this year. They’re just perfect Hallmark type books lol

You look cute with short hair! My daughter donated hair awhile ago too!

Thanks! I really enjoyed being able to donate and am looking forward to doing it again ๐
