What we’re eating this week…
We’ve got a short week of eating at home this week since we spent Memorial Weekend at my parent’s home so we didn’t get back until Monday evening and we’ll be headed back there again on Friday after work. So that means keeping it real simple around here with leftovers from a chicken we smoked, sweet potato burritos, and probably Mac n Cheese!

Last year we spend Memorial Weekend with another couple at the Indy 500, now this year we’ve both got babies!
What I’m loving…
The tree in front of our home finally bloomed for a couple days and I couldn’t resist grabbing a pic with it.
What we’ve been up to…
The last two weekends we’ve went to my hometown, first for a baby shower and then for memorial weekend. We’re headed there again on Friday for my cousin’s high school grad party too. Busy & fun times!
What I’m dreading…
Not a single thing! Looking forward to summer 🙂

I am working on a post topics for the next couple months so send me any ideas! 😉
What I’m excited about…
I’m excited to take Ronald to his first baseball game in June!
What I’m watching/reading…
I finished up this book last week! I know Ronald may only be 3 months old but I prefer to be proactive, I am always reading self care & marriage books too because while I don’t struggle in those areas they are always a good reminder of good habits!
What I’m listening to…
I’m trying to get back on track with reading and listening to audio books during my commute so I checked out this one at my library as it is the last in a triology.
What I’m wearing…
I’m loving all the dresses currently and of course red, white, & blue for summer!
What I’m doing this weekend…
Friday we’re headed back to my hometown to celebrate my youngest cousin on graduating high school!
What I’m looking forward to next month…
My in-laws are coming up for a week and we’ll be going to a Detroit Tigers game. Can’t wait for them to see how much Ronald has grown and to have fun celebrating all the Dads at a Father’s Day baseball game!
What else is new…
We bought new protective ear muffs for Ronald for loud events and he trialed them out for the first time at the Memorial Day parade this weekend, just the cutest <3
