I am linking up with Sheaffer & Shay to share a look back at our March!
What we’re eating this week…
I do not have a clue lol! I always meal plan & grocery shop for the week, I don’t lay out what we’ll have each day but I do try to have enough options for 5-6 nights our of 7. This weekend I did not meal plan nor grocery shop since the week before we had bought enough to last us at least two weeks probably longer with the except of needing basic fresh produce like bananas & berries for Ro. I made corned beef & cabbage Sunday for dinner so we’ll have plenty of leftovers of that this week plus some other easy meals! And we’re trying to keep supporting our local favorite restaurants by ordering carry out/curb side pick up!!
What I’m reminiscing about…
When we used to be able to leave our home and visit others lol 😉
What I’m loving…
We were gifted a subscription to Snack Riot in which we receive a box every month with new (healthier) snacks to try! We have LOVED it! We’ve found some new favorites that we have since purchased more of, currently can’t get enough of these chips & this brownie brittle 😉
What we’ve been up to…
Getting healthy, cleaning house, and enjoying our extra time together, getting outside when we can. We’ve already been home bound for over two weeks now!
What I’m dreading…
I prefer not to dwell & dread, I’d rather look at the positives but I also would be lying if I said I wasn’t dreading how long we might be stuck at home…we miss our family, our routine! But I know I’ll miss these days working from home so very much too so doing my best to soak it up <3
What I’m working on…
Practicing patience & gratitude. I know this time will pass eventually and while it does stink a little bit I’ve actually really LOVED all this extra time with my little family!
What I’m excited about…
I’ve started planning our garden and am SO excited to get it rolling…lots to do, cleaning up, planting, tending to, and grow grow growing!
What I’m watching/reading…
I’m reading this book that my sister loaned me! She noticed it was available as a movie on Netflix and knew how much I liked reading & watching movies so she shared it with me to read. Can’t wait to see how the movie compares!
What I’m listening to…
We typically start our mornings off listening to music, often on our record player or from our phones (so many musicians have been putting out “free concerts”). After breakfast and getting around we usually transition to listening to our local NPR station and throughout the day there are many sounds from a certain little guy that we just love listening to more these days!
What I’m wearing…
Still getting dressed like a regular day even though we’ve been home for over 2 weeks now. It helps to keep with routine and motivate me to get through the day I find. I am looking forward to a little bit of warmer weather & maybe adding some of these pieces to my closet 😉
What I’m doing this weekend…
We’ll be staying home but hoping to get outside if we can, maybe get a little yard work done if we’re feeling ambitious!
What I’m looking forward to next month…
April brings Easter! Looking forward to getting a start on our garden too 🙂
What else is new…
I ordered this shirt and am loving it! Yes, mothers do indeed make the world go round <3 Thankful for my Mama, MIL, Aunt, Grandma’s on mine & my husband’s sides…all the strong mamas!

I love reading books and comparing them to the movies; I’ll have to check this one out. I read Little Fires Everywhere last month in anticipation of Hulu’s premiere of their series.

I love the flowered top! And I love how everyone is feeling the same things right now. It helps remind me that we’re all in this together, no matter where we are.
