Joining in with Sheaffer & Shay for March’s What’s Up Wednesday!
What we’re eating this week…
We’ve been doing a really good job of sticking to meal planning, grocery shopping, and getting dinner on the table all month – something I’m proud of with a newborn π This week we’ve have Veggie Alfredo pasta, Chicken Pot Pie that I made for the freezer for a quick easy meal, and today my husband will pick up ribs from our local butcher. The key has been choosing really easy meals for us lately! However, we do usually have an extra dinner guest π
What I’m reminiscing about…
Reminiscing on this last month or so <3
What I’m loving…
We’ve been getting out for some family walks as the weather allows and everyone is loving it!
What we’ve been up to…
Getting into a routine with our new baby and figuring it all out.
What I’m dreading…
Mud. We already had a couple bad days of it but I’m sure that is only the beginning. Our dogs will be tracking it in ALL over the house :\
What I’m working on…
I’m working on some fun decor for a bestie’s bachelorette, see some of the decor I’ve made for others here.
What I’m excited about…
I’m excited for the weather to continue to get nicer and more consistent so we can take more adventures outside!
What I’m watching/reading…
We started watching Rebellion on Netflix and I really like it! I’m also trying to keep up with Grey’s as best I can. I’m reading various things when I can at the moment – sometimes on my phone, sometimes a physical book.
What I’m listening to…
Besides a baby crying LOL! We listen to a lot of music to help calm Ronald right now.
What I’m wearing…
I bought a couple new swimsuits for a bachelorette in Florida along with a couple dresses/tops that will be convenient for nursing.
What I’m doing this weekend…
Going to my bestie’s bridal shower and getting to see all my other girlfriends!!
What I’m looking forward to next month…
One of my besties is getting married and I can’t wait to celebrate!
What else is new…
I ordered our family yearbook and it arrived, love it! See more about Project Life and how I use it here.

I love your dresses!!!! So adorable! Rebellion looks like my kind of show. I need a new show so I’ll check it out. I’m impressed that you prepared so much on the front end with the meals and now you’re enjoying some delicious meals with your special guest of honor π Looks like y’all are settling in quite well as new parents!!

Thank you Shannon! The freezer meals have saved us, I’m hoping to get some more stocked up before returning to work too as I know that will be a transition too π

Hi Rechelle! How are you doing? How is family bonding going? So glad to read your post. I agree with Shannon, the dresses are beautiful on you. I can feel your pain about the mud in the house. Her white belly is so speckled with mud I think sheβs a Dalmatian π. Our Soggy Doggy mat right inside/by the dog door really helps trap some of the mud and water when she first comes in. Itβs available on Amazon. We have the 26β x 36β size. Easy to wash and dry. We also have the hand pocket clean dog towel for use after bathing. Look forward to reading how your family is doing. β€οΈ

Laurie! We’re doing so well!! The last couple weeks we’ve fallen into a nice little routine and are much more confident & comfortable in parenting π I’m working on a post about the beags & baby too, so more to come! Adding the Soggy Doggy to my Amazon cart now, thank you so much for sharing!!

Thank you Holly! Yes having dinner feels like such a win, even if we have a rough day or don’t get much sleep lol. The bachelorette is definitely something I’m looking forward to π
