Happy Wednesday friends, it’s time for another round of my favorite monthly link up with Sheaffer, Shay, & Mel!
What we’re eating this week…
Over the weekend we had yet another roasted chicken in my dutch oven! Using the leftovers for Baked Chicken Tacos. It is warming up this week so we plan to grill some veggies and eat those over rice – can’t wait to grill out more! We also had a HUGE fave of ours this week, Sweet Potato & Chorizo burritos ๐

What I’m reminiscing about…
A couple years ago I pulled an April Fools joke on my sister in which I jokingly told her she won tickets to a concert, then I double got her and told her I was kidding again, that I had actually bought tickets for us for her Birthday lol! Do you have any good April Fools jokes?!
What I’m loving…
Tomorrow Baseball is back! Of course we’ll be cheering on our Detroit Tigers, even though we don’t have high expectations for them this season.
What we’ve beenย upย to…
Hoping for Spring! It is finally warming up this week and we are all so thankful. It has been hard to look at pictures from last year and see how much more we were able to get outside by now.
ย
What I’m dreading…
This is the last week of carpooling with my hubby for the foreseeable future ๐ I’ve been riding to work with him almost every single work day for the last 4 years! I am dreading having to drive myself to work every single day…
What I’m working on…
Cleaning & purging all the things, but honestly it feels so good. This weekend I focused on the kitchen & living room.
What I’m excited about…
Though I am dreading driving myself to work I am so excited for my husband to start his new job! He is still with the same company just moving to a new job in a new group at a new location, he deserves every bit of it!
What I’m watching/reading…
This Is Us wrapped up its second season, ugh. Grey’s Anatomy is still going for the season though so I’m keeping up with that! I also rented the DVDs for Big Little Lies from my library this month and honestly for as much hype as the show had I was just not impressed. Anyone else who read the book feel the same about the show? For my March book review you can head over here.
ย
What I’m listening to…
So I’m going to try out listening to audio books and am also on the hunt for any really good podcasts that I should listen to on my commute! What are you listening to friends!?
What I’m wearing…
I can’t get enough of my newest accessory! A belated Christmas gift from my sister ๐
ย
What I’m doing this weekend…
It is Easter this weekend so we’ll be getting together with my parents & sister to celebrate!
What I’m looking forward to next month…
Spring hopefully!
What else is new…
I ordered Hank & Hal some new bowties! They look so cute and it is a fun way to “dress” them up, plus it is hard to get mad at them when they are very dapper in their bowties – its just a win all around ๐
BONUS: Fave Easter tradition?
I don’t think we have any traditions that we really hold to each year. Just getting together and the excitement of Spring. Though growing up my sister and I played Easter Egg Hunt for a solid month even after the holiday haha!

Those bow ties–soooo adorable!! Your pups are too cute.

Aren’t they!? Thank you Jaclyn!

Love the bowties! I didn’t really love the Big Little Lies series. I don’t understand how it’s getting a second season too! Hooray for baseball season!
Rechelle says
Thanks Dara! I agree, I don’t understand Big Little Lies getting a second season…

Happy Wednesday! Your dogs will look so dapper in their new ties. I’m a crime drama fan – NCIS (all 3!), Criminal Minds, SWAT, Hawaii 5-0… they can be dark and gruesome, though. As for April Fools pranks – a very long time ago a family friend (betw 5-10 years old) ran through his house around 6am yelling that the toilet had overflowed and “water” was all over the place. His parents jumped out of bed, etc. It wasn’t well received… LOL. This “kid” is now in his 40s – maybe his kids are doing the same to him?!
Rechelle says
HI Laurie! That prank sounds hilarious, I hope his parents talked his kids into pulling the same prank on him now HAHA ๐ Thanks for stopping by!

Love the bows! Your dogs are so cute! That’s why I clicked your image from the link up. We’re a beagle family too. Our girl is a beagle/terrier mix. Beagle face, beagle hair, and long legs. Fun blog!

Hi Lisa! Thank you for hopping over here. Love meeting other beagle families ๐
