I can’t believe it is already the end of July, the year is flying by! Linking up with Sheaffer & Shay for my favorite monthly post 🙂
What we’re eating this week…
Since Ro has started to join us at the table I’ve been trying to keep in mind what he can eat from our dinners so because we really can’t eat these days without offering him something or he’ll lose his mind lol. This week we’re a little busy with appointment & other commitments so we probably will be eating out twice to make things easier on ourselves, which I don’t love eating out when I know we could make things at home but this season in our lives it is just necessary so I’m giving myself grace 😉 We had cauliflower gnocchi with some marinara and Ronald is a BIG fan of marinara, we’ve also got Goulash, and steak or pork chops with veggies on the menu. Plus I made these blueberry muffins & crisp 🙂

What we’ve been up to…
Both my husband & I attended conferences last weekend – we each learned a lot about topics we’re passionate about! This month we went to a baseball game, celebrated birthdays, and just generally had a good time keeping busy 🙂
What I’m dreading…
Summer ending! This year is just flying on by!
What I’m working on…
We’re all kind of working on it, officially transitioning Ronald out of our room and into his own. He has always napped in his crib during the day so the transition has been pretty seamless. He does still wake once to eat in the night and then he will usually have about one time in the night that he wakes and we have to pop his pacifier in and shush him back to sleep. Now if only we could get him so sleep in past 5am lol!
What I’m excited about…
I’m so excited to harvest from our garden! I certainly haven’t been able to dedicate as much time to my garden this year as in years past and I am very thankful to my husband for helping out 🙂
What I’m watching/reading…
Our TV is hardly ever on these days but I’m always listening to an audiobook in the car so I can at least get a little reading in! Recently The Things We Cannot Say was recommended to me and it was immediately available at my library, it is SO good! Also I can’t wait for this album to release in September, listening to this song on repeat until then…

After a busy couple of weekends I am looking forward to not having anything set on our agenda just yet, we’ll see where the weekend takes us 🙂

Hopefully we’ll get to take some time to head to meet my niece, Gemma!!
What else is new…
I bought a few things during some recent sales using birthday money. I also picked up some swimwear on clearance for Ro for next year too!
He is such a big boy- love all the food he is eating- that must make you so happy- he looks so happy too! Yeah! 🙂

Beautiful pics! Your short hair looks great and i bet is a blessing w baby, and summer. Thanks for reminding about veggies – those darn zucchini squash ripen so fast … and the tomatoes. And Ro discovering 2 fisted eating… so sweet and so adorably messy at the same time. 😄
Yes so glad to have the short hair, thinking I may even maintain keeping it this length for a while 🙂 Hal has quickly discovered that Ronald in his highchair equals food on the floor, so that helps a little with the mess lol!
