It’s the last Wednesday of the month and time for another link up with Sheaffer and Shay!
What we’re eating this week…
Veggie Pasta, Mac n Cheese that I froze when I made it last week and Chicken Burritos. I often joke with my husband that the best thing about marrying him is the Mexican food, haha! #NoButReally #WeMakeReallyGoodBurritos Tonight on the menu is Basil Burgers and Butternut Squash Fries.
What I’m reminiscing about…
Just looking back at some of my favorite pictures from previous years around this time.
What I’m loving…
All things fall! It’s my favorite! Isn’t it everybody’s favorite 😉
What we’ve been up to…
Repainting our deck! See more here.
What I’m dreading…
Just like last month, I’m still dreading those leaves. Our trees don’t start losing leaves until late in the season, when its good and cold, and they keep falling into the first snow fall too.
What I’m working on…
Just a little bit of crafting, I’ll share the easy tutorial soon!
What I’m excited about…
Pulling out my Halloween decor, it is seriously my favorite! Since our house has been a mess from the deck project I haven’t gotten a chance to really get it all out. But here is a sneak peak!
What I’m watching/reading…
Keeping up with Grey’s <3 and The Blacklist, I also started Parenthood on Netflix – watch it now, I’m telling you! Or rather don’t if you do not want to lose all your free time 😉 See my September book reviews here.
What I’m listening to…
Mindy Gledhill. Cheerful, light, love songs!
What I’m wearing…
Booties and scarves =] This is what Monday looked like!
What I’m doing this weekend…
We don’t have any set plans. Hoping to enjoy our deck and maybe sneak in our first fall festivities with some cider & donuts!
What I’m looking forward to next month…
HALLOWEEN! We only got one trick-or-treater the first year we lived in our home and last year we went to a friends home to help pass out candy. I left a bucket on the front steps but I don’t think we had a single kid stop. It makes me sad, but I still try every year and I still look forward to it =]
What else is new…
We found a new set of trails behind our local library and we have all been enjoying it! (Don’t mind the doggie bags in my husband’s hand, I loved this pic because Hal’s ears are floppy and he looks like he is flying!)
BONUS Question: …What is your favorite fall recipe?
I love warm comfort food in the fall and especially better if it can be made in my slow cooker! These are two of my fave, Potato Soup and Chicken Dumplings!
Happy Wednesday friends!
