What’s Up Wednesday: December 2017

Oh Hello There! We’re on our way to Arizona today and couldn’t be happier 🙂 Linking up with Sheaffer, Shay, & Mel for the last What’s Up Wednesday of the year!

 

What we’re eating this week…

ALLLL THE YUMMY MEXICAN FOOD!!! We just don’t have this quality in Michigan, so we love getting to indulge when we visit family 🙂

What I’m reminiscing about…

This will only be my second Christmas away from my family, honestly the first time was hard and yes I cried, but I feel SO much better this time! I’m happy we get to make these memories with my husband’s fam cause I LOVE them too! Plus he misses a lot of holidays or other events so its really special when we do get to do this!

 

What I’m loving…

I received this light box as Christmas gift and it just makes me SO HAPPY! I am very much looking forward to styling it within my decor in the future!

What we’ve been up to…

All the Christmas festivities! The last couple weekends were spent getting together with family to celebrate the season.

 

What I’m dreading…

Going back home to snow 😉 Gonna soak up the warmth & sunshine the next 2 weeks! (but we are also dreading leaving these 2 beags)

 

What I’m working on…

Planning blog posts for next year…I typically try to plan out topics a month or two ahead of time and work on writing them a week or two ahead, so I’m never rushing to throw content together for you!

What I’m excited about…

We’re both darn excited to get to Arizona! 😉

What I’m watching/reading…

The new season of Grand Tour started (previously Top Gear), so we’ve been keeping up with that. My husband & I used to watch ALL the Top Gear throughout college, we both have fond memories of sitting on worn out couches in his fraternity just watching so many torrented episodes. Of course even now we love watching it together because of the memories! I’ll be sharing my December books & Faves from 2017 next week.

Christmas Music of course!!!

What I’m wearing…

All the festive apparel! It may be cheesy but I soak it up this month 🙂 I can’t quit wearing this new necklace my parents gave me either!

What I’m doing this weekend…

Today is the start of our Christmas vacation in Arizona, the girls in the fam have plans to see a play this weekend!

What I’m looking forward to next month…

I’m excited for a new year! Honestly, the beginning of this year started off rough with my Gma passing, then we were rear ended and our car was totaled, so I’m just looking forward to a fresh start. Don’t get me wrong, there was plenty of good in our year too though!

What else is new…

We received this as a Christmas present and have been LOVING it! We’ve had a few cheap bluetooth speakers previously and this one is SO AMAZING comparatively.

 

BONUS QUESTION: Best gift you’ve ever given a guy.

This probably isn’t super helpful for you ladies, however I did just gift my husband a gift for finishing his Master’s degree and graduating that I think has been my favorite gift to give to date! My husband wasn’t even expecting a gift which made it even sweeter. I found a die cast ’69 Corvette in the same color as the actual car we bought last year, so now he has a replica to display at home or even work of that special car!
