I can’t believe we’re already wrapping up another month & sharing what we’ve been up to this August with Sheaffer & Shay!
What we’re eating this week…
I do not know, I do not care lol! I just don’t have it in me to keep with the meal planning & cooking at this moment in time, so we’re just eating whatever to survive around here! I will say that these granola bars are keeping me alive 😉 we used to get the chocolate flavor from the grocery store, until I found them cheaper on Amazon & we’ve been getting the cookies & cream, I decided to try the apple cinnamon this time too & am a fan!
What I’m reminiscing about…
Anniversary trips of years past :\ We don’t have anything planned for the Labor Day weekend like we usually do, so a little bummed about that.

Not a whole lot around here. Getting outside when we can, having fun playing together.Â

What I’m working on…
Getting our home back on track & in a routine. We had a really good routine going then being gone for 2 weeks plus once we were all back home we started a new schedule that threw us out of our groove. Working on getting back to our little routine to keep up with the chores!
What I’m excited about…
I’m excited to see my gal pals this weekend!Â
What I’m watching/reading…
We pretty much only turn on the TV these days to watch Motorsports! I think I burned myself out a little on reading & took a break for a bit but I am enjoying getting back to reading. I just received this book of poetry, Brave New Mama by Vicki Rivard, and I am loving just opening a few random pages each night before bed – the words are incredibly beautiful & moving!Â
What I’m listening to…
In the mornings on the way to daycare, I play Cedarmont Kids on Google Play Music – trying to start off Ro’s day with fun & sing a longs! Then I switch over to an audiobook for the rest of my commute.Â
What I’m wearing…
I’m wearing my treasured breastmilk ring daily <3 I ordered this piece so the stone is made from my breastmilk, to forever remember my breastfeeding journey with Ro, 18 months now!
What I’m doing this weekend…
Friday I am getting together with my besties! It has been far too long and I cannot wait to see them <3
What I’m looking forward to next month…
We’ll celebrate our Anniversary and I am looking forward to FALL!Â

Yeah, I think we might try to do something locally together! We’ll see what we come up with…

That’s so crazy, we’ve been listening to that same Cedarmont Kids playlist with Liv! She loves it! (which is the only reason I tolerate it, haha!). Ro just gets more adorable by the day!
