It is time to link up with Shay & Sheaffer to wrap up our month with What’s Up Wednesday!
What we’re eating this week…
Monday the weather was FABULOUS so we grilled! Steak, baked potatoes, and green beans – YUM! Easy meals planned the rest of the week…beef burritos, pizza & salad, and Trader Joe’s Orange Chicken with Vegetable Fried Rice.
What I’m reminiscing about…
Looking back on the end of April last year when I got together with my best gal pals! Also reminiscing on what the Vette looked like 2 years ago…Ron took it all the way down the the frame and put it back together again, upgrading many things along the way. Now he is finishing up some other last projects and getting it ready for some track days this summer starting with Memorial Day Weekend!!
What I’m loving…
These warmer sunny days <3
What we’ve been up to…
All this baby still around here! And getting outside as much as we can 🙂
What I’m dreading…
While I am looking forward to getting into a more solid routine, I am dreading having to go back to work a little :\
What I’m working on…
We’re working on practicing our routine for when I return to work…what time I need to be getting up, packing lunches, and loading up Ronald for daycare…
What I’m excited about…
I am SO excited for this lady to get married and to celebrate with my besties!
What I’m watching/reading…
I watched the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina on Netflix at the beginning of my maternity leave, the new season came out earlier this month so I’ve been working in that now too! It can be a little intense at times but I enjoy seeing the correlations between this series and the Sabrina the Teenage Witch series I watched growing up lol
I’m reading mostly baby books right now but I am looking forward to getting back into reading for leisure via audiobooks when I start back to work next month, so send me any recommendations! And reading to Ronald multiple times a day 🙂
What I’m listening to…
Honestly, currently I am listening to 2 beagles snoring away on the couch while I type up this post and keep an eye on baby on the monitor.
What I’m wearing…
I picked up a couple new jeggings (here & here) when I saw them online at Target for $15! and I am loving these new earrings that I picked up to wear for a bachelorette party earlier this month 🙂
What I’m doing this weekend…
I am in one of my bestie’s wedding!!! Can’t wait to celebrate the happy couple with everyone!
What I’m looking forward to next month…
Unfortunately I go back to work next month :\ but I am looking forward to getting into a regular routine.
What else is new…
Well we needed a vehicle to tow the Vette for track days and such and bought this 15 passenger van this week LOL! I’m sure our neighbors are thinking we just had one baby and now must be planning for 10 more 😉 Seeing this in our driveway just makes me crack up because of how ridiculous it is, but it gets the job done!

You have to let me know how The Love Season Is- it is one of Elin’s books I haven’t read yet- LOVE those earrings- I seriously need them and I am laughing out loud at the van- I would probably think the same thing like how many more?? Ha ha- have a BLAST at the wedding- can’t wait to see pics!
Rechelle says
I’ll certainly share about Elin’s book. I I can’t not laugh when I see the van in our driveway lol!

Hi Rechelle… we are nearing the end of April already?! I love your comment about the van… I thought that was a bit big for your family of 5 LOL. Sleeping pups on a sofa… I know and love that sight, esp when they are sleeping on you… Have a great time at the wedding… the earrings remind me of the candy sprinkles …
Rechelle says
My girlfriends said they looked like sprinkles too! Sleeping pups on you is the best 🥰

I love that the Where The Wild Things Are has an inscription to you! I have some old books where I wrote my name in them and it’s fun to see that when I read them to the kids. My kids want me to get a big van like that for carpooling purposes!
Rechelle says
My Mom always wrote in our books growing up and then she gifted them back to me when I was pregnant, it’s my favorite! A big van would be perfect for carpooling all the kids & their friends 😉
