What’s Up Wednesday!

Time for the monthly link up with Sheaffer and Shay, I love sharing our What’s up Wednesday post at the end of each month!

 I’ve still been sticking with meal planning every weekend and it works out really well. I don’t set an order for the meals just options so we have a variety to pick from and we don’t always eat every option laid out for the week, sometimes they roll into the next week. I find that it really saves on time and it helps us make better decisions, when we know we have healthy food to eat at home we are less likely to eat fast food (or at least it makes us feel bad!). On the menu this week: beef quesadillas, sausage gnocchi, chicken & butternut squash, Asian chicken stir-fry, spaghetti, and veggie stuffed acorn squash. Here was our Sausage Gnocchi from last night with some homemade garlic bread (I just sliced what was left of a baguette, spread on butter, sprinkled some garlic, basil and oregano then topped with cheese).

Last year at this time we were enjoying the AZ sun!

IT’S SPRING! Even though its been rainy it still beats snow 😉

Ron changed up the timing of plans for the Vette so we’ve been busy out in the garage.

The mud. With spring comes rain which brings the mud and my beagle boys bring the mud right on inside. We’ll have constant muddy pawprints on our floor, which honestly I don’t mind since they are cute and clean up easy enough. What I do mind is trying to catch the beags before they get to the furniture and make a muddy mess!

Garden planning, our seeds arrived last week and I’ve been plotting out our garden. 

Just the warmer weather and sunshine! I enjoy coming home and eating dinner on the deck then playing fetch with the dogs outside. I absolutely love starting my weekend mornings wrapped in a blanket, reading a book on the deck as the sun rises, usually Hank joins me and sunbathes 🙂

SO MUCH READING THIS MONTH. Catch my book review on Friday.  We still haven’t finished The Good Wife and its okay because it means we’re spending more time present with one another, especially those beagle boys!

 I’ve been loving hearing the birds chirp each morning as we leave for work 🙂

All my new LuLaRoe!!! My sister hosted an online party a couple weeks ago, so I added more to my collection.

No set plans. Of course Ron has class, I’ll be meal planning and grocery shopping and maybe taking the beags on an adventure!

It will be Hal’s 2nd beagleversary, he’s been in our family 2 years now!
