With Thanksgiving this week I tried to meal plan on the lighter side, less meat & more fruits/veggies.

Last year was the first year that I didn’t celebrate Thanksgiving on the actual day, this year will be the second and I’m still more thankful than ever.

I’m still in love with these photos of the beags! I stop to look at the frames almost every time I pass them in the hall.
What we’ve been up to…
We’ve been squeezing in as many walks as we can while the ground is still free of snow and it isn’t freezing cold!
What I’m dreading…
I don’t mind the snow but I dread the driving :\
What I’m working on…
I’m working on crossing the last few people off our Christmas gift list.
What I’m excited about…
I am so excited to get my Christmas decor out and put up! I’ll probably be putting it up Thanksgiving evening or the day after 🙂 Here is our first tree together!
What I’m watching/reading…
I’ve moved on to watching The Good Wife. I binge watched a season a couple of years ago with my sister and finally decided to start from the beginning and actually watch it through.

Christmas music, what else!?
What I’m wearing…
Eek this new dress I bought on Zulily! I played the colors up to be more fallish but will easily be able to pull the pink and yellow to transition to spring too!
What I’m doing this weekend…
Spending time with family. OH and watching Gilmore Girls of course!
What I’m looking forward to next month…
CHRISTMAS! Give me all the twinkle lights and cookies 🙂

I picked up this sweater a couple of weeks ago while shopping with my sister and mom. My sister got it too!
Bonus: Favorite Thanksgiving tradition…
My favorite Thanksgiving tradition is a new one that we’ve started only a few years ago since we moved into out home. My husband smokes our turkey and it is just SO good! Plus it feels like our thing now, our little touch on the holiday.
