I am joining in with Stephanie again for another month of What We’re Reading Wednesday! I haven’t quite gotten through all these books this month (still working on the last 2) but am quite confident I will finish over the next week and I wanted to include them here.
This is the 3rd book in the Louisa Clark series that started with Me Before You, followed by After You. I LOVED Me Before You and the movie was pretty darn good too! I thought this was an excellent wrap up of Lou’s story. It did feel a little long/drawn out for a bit and some of the parts were rather predictable. However I totally thought it was worth it and those last 50 pages or so really did it for me! If you’ve read the other books in the series this one is a must, I mean doesn’t everyone love a little Lou in their lives 😉
Last year I read The Magnolia Story and adored it! Chip & Jo are just everyone’s fave right!? I added this one to my requested list electronically via my library and really quite enjoyed it. This was a really quick & easy read, I did find there was quite a bit of overlap from the first book but there was a lot of new stuff revealed too. If you’re a fan of all things Fixer Upper, Magnolia, or Chip & Jo then I’d definitely add this one to your reading list.
A friend recommended this one to me and I have loved it so far! I received some other library books that had a shorter loan time so I had to set this one aside after getting a little over a quarter of the way through it but I’ve gotten back to it in the last week. I’ve also got her next book on my TBR list! Rachel just does an excellent job of breaking life down to make it easy, because it can be. This book is all about being present and the simple ways you can make it happen in your life too. I love books like these because sometimes we over complicate our lives & these reminders can help us get back on track!
I am a BIG Sally Hepworth fan! I named The Things We Keep as one of my TOP books of 2017. So I requested this one from the library as soon as I could. I also really loved The Secrets of Midwives too. Anyway this one is about a small suburb where everyone knows everyone & they’re all neighborly of course. Until that is they learn that they all have their secrets and sometimes if you look too closely you’ll uncover something you’d really wish you hadn’t. I’ve been reading this one SO FAST because I just need to know what happens!
What are you reading currently & loving? While my TBR (to be read) list is a mile long, I do always enjoy recommendations from others 🙂 You can always follow me on Goodreads here, to keep up with what I’m reading!

I really need to read Me Before You as everyone I know who read it loved it! I did read another of her books that was available back when I was looking!

Good for you for reading so much! I used to be an avid reader – cozy mysteries were one of my fave genres. I have slacked off so much since my iPad and fan fiction sites came along. Trying hard to go back to the books… and so much better for me before bedtime.

Thanks Laurie – I have been trying to be better about reading since I love it so much! I agree it is one of the best things before bedtime 🙂

I just finished The Marriage Lie by Kimberly Belle. It’s a mystery/suspense and really enjoyed it!

Thanks Bella, I’m going to have to look into that one! 🙂
