I saw this idea several years ago, you probably have too, where you just ask for or give gifts to your kids in the categories of Want, Need, Wear, and Read. So I thought I’d share some of mine here today…this also worked out really well for me one year because my mom literally used it and bought me a JORD Wood Watch that I had listed here on my blog! π
WANT
To be honest it was rather difficult for me to come up with ideas for this category, I’m just not typically a person to want anything specific. But I browsed my Pinterest and really just around the house to see things that I know I like and would want to add to our home. First up is a simple bundt pan, I’ve pinned a few recipes recently that call for a bundt pan but I don’t happen to have one!
I started collecting Jim Shore figurines a couple years ago, the Peanuts/Snoopy ones are of course my fave!
NEED
I’ve really been needing a new phone and hopefully we’re going to remedy that soon. It’s more been waiting to see what new phones(and their prices) came out this fall to decided if I should get something new or something a year or two old.
WEAR
This fun & festive maternity shirt is certainly fitting for me right now.
I’m loving this sweater dress, it looks so comfy!
And these shirts all from Target look like they could work now as maternity and still in a couple months for nursery, that’s a score for me π
READ
I prefer to utilize my library for my favorite fictional romance novels and ask for more of the self improvement & empowerment type books to keep on hand in my own personal library, ones I know I’ll reach for again & again that I can refer to often. These are some recent ones that stand out to me…
