The Friend Zone & The Happy Ever After Playlist by Abby Jimenez – I saw these recommended by Dara and after going through the first one pretty quickly I DEVOURED the second one. Both so cute, perfectly light, sweet, & full of romance but certainly some troubles too. The Friend Zone focuses on Kristen who is so witty, incredibly loyal, and a no drama, honest kind of girl. The Happy Ever After Playlist follows Kristens BFF, Sloane, with Kristen popping in every now & then which I loved!
The Girl with the Louding Voice by Abi Dare – This one took me a bit more time to get through, mostly just because I’ve realized as I wind down this pregnancy I am looking for light & fluffy reads as I focus on preparing our home & hearts for this new baby boy. However, that is not to say this book is any less!! It was remarkable and I really loved the story, following Adunni in Nigeria as she keeps her eyes on the end goal despite all the obstacles life brings her way. It was a heartbreaking read, while also giving hope & showing the perseveranceĀ of a female.
I’m now fully into reading & preparing for labor, birth, and postpartum! While also looking forward to getting back into some of my normal reads soon enough. What are you reading?

I loved all of these! You will have to read Life’s Too Short when it comes out. I loved her first two but her third might be even better!
