It’s time for another link-up with Andrea for Show & Tell, this time around we’re headed down memory lane and sharing our favorite childhood shows, toys, movies, etc!
Favorite Shows
Well first off, like most kids I loved Barney! So did my husband, he loved it so much he would wake up in the middle of the night crying asking to watch Barney lol!
I’m sure I had plenty of cartoons I loved as a kid and there are some I remember watching, but more in to my pre-teen and teenage years these were the ones that stood out!
As told by ginger – I looked up the intro video for this show and I somehow even remembered the words! Ginger helped me get through those awkward years that are just difficult for everyonel
Lizzie McGuire – Oh how I wanted to be Lizzie McGuire 😉
Boy Meets World – who didn’t watch this?!
Movies
The Sandlot – Oh boy we watched this one A LOT!
A Little Princess – I loved this movie and still do! A couple years ago I even read the book to reminisce 🙂
Bring It On – I still know all the words to this one and watch it anytime it plays on FreeForm!
Toys
Polly Pocket – First I had the tiny sets that were a miracle if you didn’t lose. Then my sister and I started to get the bigger dolls and we played ENDLESSLY! Sometimes we would even take one day to set up our ‘houses’ and storylines and then not even actually start playing until the next day, it was intense!
American Girl Dolls – My first doll was Samantha, obvi. I bought Kirsten with my own money and still remember going to the post office to mail in the order form. We still have all of the dolls and I don’t think I’ll ever let them go! I had all of these girls below.
Books
Eloise – This wild and crazy girl had me in awe, she was funny, confident, and all over the place.
Madeline – I loved reading about Madeline and her adventures.
The Doll People – This was my favorite book! I even included it in my Random Act of Kindness last fall.
Nancy Drew – I read plenty of books in this series and did many book reports on them too ha!
Amelia – I loved these journal books, the details were amazing!
Music
Backstreet Boys
NSync
Britney Spears
Shania Twain – My sister and I went to a concert when we were in elementary/middle-school and then went again 2 years ago and it was seriously the best concert I’ve ever been to! We only changed a little bit between those times, but the music was still just as great 😉
And this was just OH SO TRUE!
