WELCOME to our home, come on in friends! Yes, I did tidy up just a little but I still kept it real.
I’ll provide links where I can but again a lot of my decor is thrifted or gifted, right now I’ve got my summer stuff out on display.
I love reading and I’ve enjoyed collecting books here and there to display in our home, this is just inside the front door. Snoopy has become a hit after acquiring beagles obviously. These comic books are hilarious! I like to read them every now and then and set them out on the coffee table when guests visit too.
Standing in the front entry, I love our open kitchen, dining, and living room areas. It is perfect for entertaining and still having everyone feel like they’re together!
This painting was a wedding gift and something I treasure seeing each day. And the engagement picture it was created after, I love how unique both of them are!
This whole wall is full of gifts actually. Red table (Hobby Lobby, not available online), star (Pier One, no longer available), mirrors (here) and the burlap monogram frame.
And another wedding painting gift from my bff Jenelle! I complimented it with our sunset wedding pictures framed. I have plans to make a small collage on this wall too.
Our kitchen table was given to us by my husband’s Nan and Papa. I’d maybe like to have something a little different but this is in such great condition (as in hardly used) and fits our space just fine, so replacing it isn’t a priority at all.
My hutch again, changed up a little. I’m imagining it painted, with the top lifted to have an open space for storing my kitchen aid mixer (instead of on the floor).
Our kitchen space. I love the openness and lots of counter space, that little counter to the right is perfect for lining up appetizers and sides when we host, there are even outlets along it so we can keep things warm! I don’t love our appliances mostly because the previous owner did not do a good job at all of keeping the stainless steel clean so everything is very streaky, but they were all brand new in 2012 so yeah we are keeping them!
My collection of “M’s” and cookie jars! Of course beagles and hedgehogs, my two fave animals 😉
My husband got me these kissing beagle salt and pepper shakers for my birthday, love them!
View as you stand in the kitchen. We’ve got 2 extra bedrooms here. One is actually a guest room (keeping it classy with the bed on the floor & no frame). The closet in here also keeps our off-season clothes, extra jewelry and my purses..yeah I need a bigger closet in our bedroom!
The other room functions as our ‘office’. Which in reality is where I do crafts and my husband plays video games. It works really well for us and I’ve loved to see the space come together and show off both of our passions. The Tigers photos were a gift my husband received and they are awesome!
I made a little display of our graduation caps and fraternity membership certificates. As well as our diplomas and this neat frame of our alma mater that was a gift. Finally our bedroom, which I’ve shown a little before, see here.
That’s it, that is our home! Thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed the tour 🙂 Happy Weekend!
