Today I’m linking up with Andrea at Momfessionals to share my favorite grown up parties.
We’ve hosted plenty of people in our home, especially for holidays with my family, but really only one party. I’ve also helped with decorating and set up for one of my BFF’s bridal showers and then later her bachelorette party. I love to get crafty and make some of the decor, so that is what I’ll be showing and telling you today ๐
In December we hosted my girlfriends and their significant others for a Christmas party, see more details here. I planned out a few games and we decided on the menu beforehand so everyone could bring something. Since it was a seasonal party I didn’t have to decorate as my Christmas decor was already up, but I did make a festive board for our games!
I helped with the decor for a girlfriends bridal shower where we kept with her wedding colors of mint/coral. I brought lace, burlap and milk glass from my own wedding. Then I made a few banners for some of the tables.
Then for the same girlfriend’s bachelorette I reused some of the banners, made a few more along with some fun accessories! We all headed to Nashville so since I had to fit everything in my bag plus since we were in hotel rooms I kept it light and simple.
I made these name tags which turned out to be SO MUCH FUN! The bride handed them out so it was really funny to see who got what =] I also made the hair ties. I saw it on pinterest and had my hubby whip up a little printable while I bought the elastic in bulk online, cut them to length and tied them in a knot! Super easy, affordable, and cute!

I made this little photobooth area with some basic kraft wrapping paper. We used washi tape to put everything up on the walls, it worked for a while but things eventually fell down. Since we were in a hotel though I didn’t want any tape that was too sticky.
I made these fun “Let’s Party Y’all” and “Cheers Bitches” banners from foam letters that I just glittered or painted and now I use the “Cheers” and “Let’s Party” portions for NYE! These tassel banners now hang above our bed and were literally made from plastic table cloths! And the circle punch banners are the easiest thing to make EVER!

I love inexpensive and easy decor pieces that make a statement! It is the best way to add a little something extra to your party ๐
