I had to sneak in this post, since I don’t normally post on Tuesdays, to join the Show & Tell linkup with Andrea, one of my very favorite posts all year! It is time to tour everyone’s homes decorated for the holidays!!! If you didn’t see my special interview with my Mom yesterday head over here quick first 🙂
We just finally got our outdoor lights put up this weekend, even though the inside of the house was all done a week before Thanksgiving!
I’ve got my festive books displayed right as you enter the door. I love to collect vintage Peanuts (especially Snoopy) books as well as other holiday themed ones!
This garland was a garage sale find and quite possibly my favorite thing ever! I wrapped in some red beads that my mom gave me with some lights and called it good.
Our tree is a mix of everything and I think it is just so US! We’ve got beagles of course, and hedgehogs too since we used to have one. There are various Corvettes that Ron was gifted from his parents through the years. There are some ornaments we picked up on our honeymoon, along with baseballs too! It has a little bit of everything 🙂
I really wanted to put my Lefton Holly pieces on display this year so I made my table centerpiece around them. Obviously I also had to include my favorite mail truck & tiny beagle too though!
My hutch is looking great as always! I try to get a good balance of items in varying heights in each quadrant plus a mix of colors too.
I’ve got this cute little hot cocoa bar set up on a part of the counter in the kitchen! We can’t leave cocoa out since one certain beagle just on the countertops but this sure is a fun display!
I’ve got another small corner of my kitchen counter also decked out 🙂
And this little scene of deer & trucks with trees ranks pretty high on my list! Also, its ridiculous how much I love this Snoopy clock lol…my Aunt found it for me at Goodwill (it even came with the batteries), and it plays 1 of 12 holiday tunes on the hour! It even has a light sensor so as it gets darker it plays the music quieter and in complete darkness it doesn’t play so as to not wake you, I mean for less than $5 at Goodwill you just can’t beat it!
This Santa Cacti might just be my favorite! My husband’s family lives in Arizona and they have a cactus out front of their house that they decorate too. So these pieces bring a little of his home into ours 🙂
Of course can’t forget my Peanuts Nativity scene as well!
Do you decorate for Christmas? How soon does your decor & tree get put up?
I love your book display with the vintage books! So fun! Your tree with the bead garland is beautiful. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you, the bead garland was actually always on our family tree growing up, its special and makes me happy to have it on my own tree now 🙂 Thanks for stopping by Jaclyn!
What a lovely holiday home with all the decorations! I LOVE the Peanuts Nativity scene… I just noticed the verses on the base of each Nativity piece!
Thank you, Laurie!!! Yes, I love that they even has the verses 🙂
I love all of your Christmas decor and especially your colored lights- it is making me want to do more of that next year for my girls! 🙂
Thank Holly! I like to do a mix of white lights and colorful lights to keep it fun and festive 🙂
We like to get our holiday cheer going early. So we put our tree up on November 1st every year. We also set the dinner table with a nice centerpiece and last year my mom gifted me her Christmas china set and we’re using that. I’m hoping to go all out next year since we’ve moved into a house and more space to store decorations. Love your décor!
