Wow 7 months with our boy! He’s getting bigger and learning new things so quickly each month. He weighed in at 19lbs 5oz. And his hair is starting to fill in too – he had a little rat tail in the back that I had to trim up hehe!
Ronald loves smiling with a big cheesy grin lately, showing off his 2 little bottom teeth! He is such an excellent eater too, it is amazing to see how intuitive it is for him to chew chew chew & drink from a straw even! We haven’t found much food that he doesn’t like yet but we’ve had a couple run ins with some reactions to random foods and have an appointment to see an allergist to check things out.
Ronald is generally happy & does well for us, he can be quite serious looking sometimes too though lol. We always get comments when we are out about how CUTE & smiley he is!
When we returned from Nashville his talking seemed to have exploded, he is talking with more consonants sounds now. Still no signs of crawling but we’re okay with that for now, we know once he is on the move we’re in trouble lol!
Some of Ro’s current favorites include his blocks, his toes, his cactus rattle, his lovie blankets, the beags, Dad playing music especially the mandolin, being outside, gel window clings, pasta sauce, & his mama.
A few favorites I want to remember are how when he nurses during the day he always has to be grabbing his toes or slapping his belly or grabbing me or just generally always on the move. Then his hand on my back is usually rubbing me. And every now & then he stop to look up at me with a smile, which is so heartwarming but also usually means I am then spraying him with milk haha. When he gets his eyes on me he gives the biggest cheesiest grin <3 When Ro wakes up from a nap if I am holding him he will reach up to put his hand on my cheek and I seriously feel like he is just looking straight into my heart & soul. Ronald & Dad mimicking each other & blowing raspberries back and forth. In true raised by beagles fashion Ro also will now tilt his head to the side sometimes when inquisitively checking something out (you know how if you say to your dog “hey you wanna go for a a walk” and they head tilt)! The absolute best is when he wakes up he makes rawr dinosaur/monster noises and it instantly puts a smile on my face <3
Oh I loved reading this Rechelle- he is the sweetest boy- I can’t stand that he rubs your back- that is the cutest!! He is growing so fast XO

Such a cute little boy! 7 months, already?! And winning his parents’ and brother beagles’ hearts every day! He learns all this affection and affirmation from his loving environments… good job Mom, Dad, Hank, Hal, and extended family! Watch out – he’s getting mobile! 🙂
