I am so happy to be linking up with Holly & Patty for a new monthly linkup! The topic this month is of course LOVE as we look ahead to Valentine’s Day 🙂
Candy Conversation Hearts…Yes or No?
I don’t mind them, kind of in between I guess, could live with or without them lol. I do like using them for decor though, fun & festive little touch!
Valentine, Galentine, or boycott?
Valentine AND Galentine!! I couple years ago I shared the galentine’s that I made for some of my best gal pals & mailed.
Decorate house for Valentine’s Day?
YES! I decorate for just about every holiday, something I grew up seeing my mom do and so now I do it too.
Do you buy your pet a valentine gift or treat?
We don’t usually specifically buy them valentine’s but they certainly will get an extra treat or two and if the weather is nice we get out for a walk too.
Best Valentine’s Day?
Just a couple years ago I recall we binge watched a bunch of Netflix (Peaky Blinders I think, which is not romantic lol) and then made a nicer dinner together. Complete with a really big & slightly under cooked chocolate chip cookie for dessert!
Do you prefer to stay in or go out for Valentine’s Day?
Stay in, I’m definitely more of a homebody!
Favorite childhood Valentine’s Day memory?
I can’t think of anything in particular, of course it was always the best picking which valentine cards you were going to give to who and then walking around the classroom and dropping them in each classmate’s box!
Best tips for kids on Valentine’s Day? Classroom ideas?
I’ll be reading all the link ups for all the tips & classroom ideas to use in the future. This year I just picked up something small for Ro!
Any Valentine’s Day fashion tips?
I so love a theme to dress for so wearing hearts or love themed tops are a must for me! But even just pops of red or pink work great too. And while kind of silly one of my favorite ways to wear festive things is on my socks lol!
Champagne, chocolate, flowers? All of the above?
All of the above! My hubby is a big fan of champagne, well and chocolate too. Flowers are always nice that we don’t have in our home often but the inexpensive grocery store bouquet is just fine, I hate the thought of so much money being spent on something that is just thrown away.
Looking forward to this link up schedule!
