Let’s Look: Easter in our Home

I am joining Erika & Shay for the monthly Let’s Look link up, this month sharing what Easter looks like for us.

This year is different than years past for obvious reasons, we so wish that family could be joining us at our home like in years past but we are very much looking forward to the day we get to have an even bigger celebration to make up for this time! 😉

We typically host most of the holidays in our home – it just tends to be a little easier on us with multiple dogs and now a toddler. So my parents & sister come over to our place to stay for the weekend.

The last couple years for Easter we have done ribs on the smoker with roasted veggies & a baked potato YUM!

I usually try to get something small for Ron to make up a basket for him – think chocolates, snacks, or gum. And last year & this year too I’ve kept Ro’s Easter basket minimal too, trying to give things he needs & will be useful.

We love when the weather is nice and we can enjoy some time outside too!! We also loved the year we went to Arizona for Easter as a change from our usual Christmas visit – I still think I look back at that trip as one of my favorites <3
