Hello Monday! Time for another edition of a Home Tour guest post from my Mom. My parents spent most of last year renovating their 100+ year home, the same one I grew up in, and my mom does the best at filling it will the perfect decor. You can click through to see their bathroom, living room, and kitchen. Today I’m sharing a few easy DIYs that my mom did to jazz things up so COM ON IN! This is their entry way which also hold the laundry room…next week they plan to install tin on the ceiling of the entryway that was given to them by friends who tore their barn down as well as installing a farm sink in the kitchen…always something in the works! ๐
pillow cover, baskets
Just recently my mom chalk painted their bedroom furniture to freshen up the space, a little before & after. Find the bedding & baskets from the after photo belowย here.
My Mom, of course with the the help of my Dad, made this DIY mantle for less than $10! Thrifting a twin bed frame for under $4 and using leftover lumber, then just some chalk paint & distressing. Here is a look at the mantle through a couple seasons ๐
What DIYs have you completed in your home?!
