Hi There! Tomorrow is the link up for the Spring Nail Polish Swap that I participated in recently, I’m just posting a day early 😉 Of course I’ve got a little from our weekend at the bottom too!
I was matched with Carly from Always A Wildflower. I enjoyed emailing back & forth with her, getting to know her and I’ve been following along on her blog too – she has 2 of the cutest little girls! You should follow her too 🙂
Carly even sent my package out before the deadline, so I received it early YAY! Here were my goodies: Sally Hansen Insta Dri in Leapin’ Lilac, Essie in Let it Glow, Essie Speed Setter Top Coat, and nail files.
I painted my toes in the lilac color the day after I received my package and LOVE it! I don’t think I normally would have picked up this color on my own but it couldn’t be more perfect for spring! Also I’ve not tried this line from Sally Hansen before but the applicator/brush might be my favorite ever. And yes, the polish did dry super quick – less than a minute.
I topped my toes with the Essie Speed Setter which also dried incredibly quick – which is SO awesome! I was seriously done with all my toe nails from start to finish (like putting everything away) in about 5 minutes.
The Essie Let It Glow is honestly such a perfect neutral color. I don’t typically wear polish on my fingers because I’m just so rough with them, oops. But this weekend I decided to try this one out on my finger nails and I love that even if I make a mistake or chip them it is not super noticeable like many colors and it is an easy fix to cover it again.

And for a quick recap of our weekend…Friday was the start of the monthly food trucks in our town! I chose a Guac Dog, yum. And then I just couldn’t pass up this CUTE food truck, we took some blueberry cobbler to go and it was seriously the best I’ve ever had!!!
Saturday we celebrated Cinco de Mayo at home with beef burritos and I even made myself a beergarita 😉
Finished Sunday with a walk with these 2 <3
LOVE the purple nail polish and the drink you made sounds interesting- how was it? Yeah for Spring weather and walking outside!
Thanks Holly, the beer-garita was great!!! I keep it simple with just tequila, lime juice, simple syrup, orange liqueur, and a Mexican beer like Corona or Dos Equis 🙂

Happy Monday, Rechelle! The Essie polish on your fingernails is very pretty/flattering – it’s my sort of color if I wore polish… I love food trucks, but it’s hard to decide which one to order from – too bad we can’t have “samples” from the trucks… Enjoy your Monday!

I just love the insta dry line since I don’t have to worry about messing up my manicure while waiting (impatiently) for it to dry! I was given a few bottle of the essie brand for this swap and found I liked how well they covered too.
