Hello Mon-YAY! Last week I saw someone share that we don’t celebrate Mondays like we do Fridays, so I though you know what…it’s all about the mindset and I’m gonna kick this week off with a YAY & end it with a YAY too 😉
This weekend we had some fabulous weather! Friday after work & dinner we loaded up the beags and treated them to an adventure <3 Then we all spent the evening in the garage bleeding the brakes on the Vette…Hank & Hal cozied up next to me and I caught up on Grey’s, it was a perfect night!
Saturday Ron headed out for a day full of helping friends with car projects. He has had a ton of help from many friends over the last 1.5 years with getting the Vette track ready so this weekend he spent some time paying others back with his time. He decided to take the Vette out for the trip and while it isn’t perfect it mostly got him there and back hehe
I headed out to meet my sister for a lunch date! We live 1.5 hours away from each other but there is a good town about halfway between us and she texted me earlier in the week to ask if I was up to anything. After lunch we hit the movie theater to see I Feel Pretty and ladies it was SO good! I mean I think guys would like it too actually but it was for sure perfect for seeing with my sissy! SO FUNNY and just the perfect message. I’m still laughing just thinking about it 😉
Sunday was meal planning & grocery shopping, which are actually some of my favorite things ; We spent the rest of the day working on various projects – I was mostly outside working around the yard while my husband changed the oil on my car, switched out the tires on his car for summer ones, and some other small things around the garage.
Of course with all the sunshine we had to take another family adventure and wrapped it all up with ice cream. I just love getting out for some fun with my boys 🙂 I roasted red peppers on the grill for a recipe later this week and we ate grilled pizza for dinner!

Grilled pizza sounds AMAZING! I love days where you can just relax with loved ones and of course the pups! That’s one of my favorite things to do!
