Linking up with Andrea, Erika, & Narci to share my Friday Favorites along with the Christmas books I’ve been reading!
Project 52, week 49
Little Hal is just the SWEETEST! His world is gonna be rocked when Baby Boy M arrives next year <3
Continuing to prepare the nursery, we always let Hank & Hal in so that they can get comfortable & see that we’re getting ready for babes arrival. Hank was doing some serious sniffing & searching the other night, just doing his part to make sure everything passes inspection! 😉
I was in a bit of a funk one night this week for no real particular reason but Ron returned from a run to Home Depot with a surprise Frosty to help turn my night around! It’s the little things!
My faves from Instagram stories this week <3
I LOVED this book, I read my first Debbie Macomber book last Christmas and loved that one too. So I knew I wanted to read more from her this holiday season too. The books I’ve read by Macomber I would describe as Hallmark Movie type books, they’re slightly predictable & maybe cheesy, but in the BEST way possible! Like my heart is always bursting & I’ve got a huge smile on my face <3 In this one Julia deals with her handsome, grumpy neighbor Cain by trying to kill him with kindness for 12 Days of Christmas & chronicling it all on her blog.
A quick audiobook for me this month and a sweet Christmas story. Gaby Summerhill & her 4 adult children drift apart after the death of her husband a few years prior. That is until she requests their presence at Christmas on account of her getting married, but the twist is that the groom will remain a secret to everyone including the groom until the wedding day! Lots of family drama & dynamics that made this one less predictable but still filled with multiple love stories too, all at Christmas time! I enjoyed this one too 🙂
I LOVED this story!!! I read the prequel to this series last month (Christmas with Tucker) and really quite enjoyed it, though this book can definitely be read on its own too. This has a really great story line, meaning, winter/Christmas theme, and of course there are dogs too!!!

Happy Friday Rechelle! The year is rapidly drawing to a close. Inspectors Hal and Hank must make sure things are in order for their brother’s arrival. 😉. I just finished the same Debbie Macomber book 2 weeks ago. It’s a fun and fast read. Debbie’s holiday book this year is Alaskan Holiday. And Hallmark has turned a couple of her past Christmas books into movies…Mrs Miracle and Call Me Mrs Miracle. starred the late Doris Roberts. See if you can find… have a great weekend!

I have Alaskan Holiday requested at my library, just on the wait list! Definitely going to have to look for those movies too 🙂 Thanks Laurie!

I also loved A Dog Named Christmas. I listened to the audio book, as well as the sequel A Christmas Home. I’ll have to check out the prequel.
