I’ve said it before but I can never say it enough, I am SO thankful for my mother! She comes to our house, just over an hour drive one way, every single Friday to watch Ro. I know she loves spending the individual time with him but I so appreciate her giving up her time every single week and wanting to do that. I grew up with my Grandparents living just 2 blocks away from us, we truly saw them almost every single day – I grew up thinking it was normal and thought everyone saw all of their family that often (my Aunt & cousins lived right next door to us), something I took for granted as a kid. I have fond memories of Papa & Gma taking us to story time or appointments and now it makes my heart so happy seeing my Mom, & sometimes my Dad tags along too, take Ro to story time on Fridays and just getting to spend special time together!
We hit up Trader Joe’s last weekend to stock up on our favorites! I also finally remembered to grab this Bruschetta Sauce and can not believe I’ve been living without it for this long, SO GOOD! Ro ate it up and so did my hubby who isn’t the biggest fan of bruschetta! We paired it with these Brioche Toasts, YUM!
We also picked up this Buffalo Chicken Dip to have for our snacky superbowl dinner on Sunday, it was a big winner too!
I grabbed this tomato & red pepper soup too that I’ve seen Andrea recommend several times, melting some Bourisin cheese in it and YES MA’AM, new favorite soup!
My absolute FAVORITE of the week was certainly Ro’s new haircut! He is looking so big now and incredibly handsome 😉 Crazy that he will be 1 on Tuesday!!!
Morning selfies are our favorite start to the day! It can be a bit tricky to get Ro to look at the camera AND smile lol, so some mornings we just have to take what we can get.
