Friday Favorites: Bumpdate

Sharing my favorites from this week with Andrea, Erika, & Narci! Including another couple of bumpdates 😉 See my previous bumpdates here.
Project 52, Week 40
On Monday I decided to get glammed up for work. I was feeling frumpy at first but rather than throwing myself a pity party I thought, nope turn this bad attitude around & make it a great day! CHOOSE HAPPY, CHOOSE JOY! (also Hank normally hates getting his picture taken, if he sees that you are trying to take a picture of him he will purposefully look away or leave, but for some reason when we take my bump pics he always joins & I love it!)
I met a friend for dinner Wednesday night and it was a fabulous treat to the week! We celebrated our Sorority’s Founder’s Day & enjoyed catching up <3
I picked up this Halloween Beagle over the weekend & he has been my favorite welcoming home each day, okay well Hank & Hal are my favorites welcoming me home but this statue is my FAVE welcoming outside 😉
My husband & I were cracking up laughing when we snapped these bump pics because of my sock line LOL! Oh well #Pregnancy

How far along: 23 Weeks, Due January 29th

Size of baby: Grapefruit
Gender: BOY! See our gender reveal here 😉
Weight Gain: guessing between 5 & 8lbs
Maternity Clothes: Purchased a maternity winter jacket this week to be prepared for the cold that is coming!
Nursery: Other than my mom continuing to fill the closet, we haven’t done too much 😉
Movement: Feeling more & more every week
Symptoms: Noticing I get tired sooner when standing on my feet for long periods
Cravings: I actually feel like I’m becoming more indecisive, when we went out for dinner I couldn’t even choose what to order because I just didn’t know what I felt like eating!
What I miss: Eggs over easy
Best moment this week: Getting our Baby Shower date & details all squared away with invites in the mail!
Looking forward to: Right now it’s all about crossing things off our to-do lists 😉

So we may have forgotten to grab the 24 week bump pic this week but this one was taken the day before so I guess it’ll have to do! 😉

How far along:  24 Weeks, Due January 29th
Size of baby: Cantaloupe
Gender: Boy
Weight Gain: 4.4lbs at my last appointment when I was 23 weeks & 1 day – I’ll be honest, my midwives are not at all concerned about this but it does feel like I’m struggling to gain weight. I always thought I’d need to be concerned about gaining too much weight too quickly but it seems a little of the opposite even though I haven’t had any sickness/vomiting. Baby is healthy & measuring just fine though so I’m not stressing over my weight gain or lack thereof!
Maternity Clothes: Picked up another pair of maternity jeans & I love them more each day 😉
Nursery: Slowly but surely we’re gathering pieces to decorate the room
Movement: Moving more & getting stronger, Ron felt some really good ones at night this week
Symptoms: general discomfort, noticing that I can’t get quite as comfy as easy anymore
Cravings: —
What I miss: not always having to think so much – I feel like I’m always thinking about what I’m eating or if I’m drinking enough water, etc. I don’t necessarily worry about any of it but I feel like I am just constantly thinking about this pregnancy now
Best moment this week: Taking turns picking out books & reading to Baby M.
Looking forward to: Continuing work on the nursery
