Project 52, Week 31
On Monday I shared a guest post from my mom, see a little home tour of their renovated kitchen here.
Which meant I didn’t share my usual weekend wind down…so here are some of the highlights 😉 Hank escaped the yard around 7:30a on Saturday morning and didn’t return until about 9a, we were out looking all over for him and fretting like crazy! As a result he was wiped out the rest of the weekend from his self guided tour. And on Sunday I made these blueberry crumble bars, we promptly ate some warm with ice cream!
It’s been just the beags and I the last couple days as my husband took off for a work trip.
The past week was such a great one on my Instagram feed & stories! So much positivity & inspiration <3
One day when I went to search in Insta a few months ago, I saw a photo from Jamie’s feed in the explore page & started following her, she honestly has become one of my very favorites on Insta!!! Her story is touching and she shares in such a beautiful way. I just love her outlook on life and the honestly she shares. Quick synopsis: Jamie & her husband, Jake, lost their first baby Sawyer, to miscarriage then struggled with with infertility for a couple years following. Last year Jamie gave birth to their son Barron who was born with a rare & unknown condition, they sought the very best treatment but he ultimately succumbed to his illness. They started pursuing adoption and also became pregnant again so they hope to be adding 2 little’s to their home soon! This weekend Jamie answered some questions in her stories & this one brought me to tears, I hope to never wish away the season of life I may be in and to truly appreciate life for ALL that it is <3
Happy Weekend Friends!

Happy Friday Elle!! Love the perspective from Jamie’s post😍 they decided to be thankful and trust in their faith in a time that for many can cause someone to turn away from God. Reading that makes me super grateful for what I have today and thankful for whatever God gives me each day to follow. Have a wonderful Friday and weekend xoxo

Happy Friday Rechelle! How are you feeling? Been a topsy turvy week – the CA wildfires and subsequent bad air quality in other areas. Please pray for the firefighters who come from all over the world to assist. So absolutely devastating. Thank you for sharing Jamie’s story and to learn to be present in the current season and rest on Jesus. I hope you have a great weekend!

I’ve been feeling so great Laurie! Adding CA to my prayers, I can not even imagine the heartache right now. Enjoy your weekend friend!
