Some favorites for this Friday with Erika & Andrea!
Around Christmas time I discovered Pacha Soap Co. and grabbed a few items for stocking stuffers for Ro, plus I added some bath salts/bombs to my Christmas wish list. Well, I am obsessed!! I just received my order of items to restock our bath and am very much looking forward to enjoying using everything. Ro loves the kids soap fluff & bath bombs too!
An early Valentine’s Day gift from G&G E., Ro received Harvey the Heart Has Too Many Farts book. It is a funny little read & watching these two at bedtime this week was definitely my fave <3
We gave each of the dogs a new toy one night this week. Usually they all want whatever toy the other dogs have so it’s like a game of musical chairs and Hank & McGruff usually only play for a few minutes and then lose interest. Hal though DESTROYS toys, he loves to get the squeakers & all the fluff out! So usually I try to put Hank and/or McGruff’s toys up after they lose interest so that we don’t have fluff completely everywhere & so toys last for longer than 5 minutes, because otherwise Hal would just make a mess of all 3 toys!
We made chili & cornbread muffins over the weekend and one little boy was a big fan of the muffins, mostly because they act as a vessel for butter which is his favorite π It was also very cute because while eating muffins he was reminded & sang Do You Know The Muffin Man to us!
During naptime I played with make-up since I hardly ever wear any these days and it felt really nice!Β
Another day during naptime I put together some Valentine themed fun for Ro to wake up to, he played for almost an hour with the dyed rice & various dollar store fillers! It definitely made a mess with rice ending up everywhere but that is part of the learning & playing process so I try to embrace it, plus it gave the opportunity to have Ro partake in cleaning up as well.
Ro has been helping so much with the dishes lately, it is definitely a favorite activity of his! And again, there is usually a bit of a mess with water ending up everywhere, but it is great for him to be learning how to help! It also keeps him in one place while I clean up other things lol π
We remembered to grab some bump pictures this week! Hank is still sneaking in them like he did 2 years ago & of course now Ro has decided he needs to join in as well.
Last weekend was the kickoff of the motorsports season with 24 Hours of Daytona race, Ro was a big fan of having racing on all weekend long.
Cuddling up to read is always a favorite, especially when this sweet boy also snuggled my growing belly <3

Oh my goodness Ro is so cute! I love that dyed rice, did you make it yourself? How fun! And him cleaning up his mess after is the best. Love your bump too! Glad you guys are all doing well! xo

Awe thanks! Yes, we dyed the rice – just a couple cups of white rice a tablespoon or so of white vinegar & several drops of food coloring then shake shake shake & spread out to dry.
Hi, Ella! π

I remember when Gabbie played with rice as a young kid, she accidentally put some in her mouth and did not like that! Now, we just taught our 13 year old to do dishes, I should have started him much younger!
Rechelle says
Haha, thankfully Ro has never been too much in to putting things in his mouth. So funny about just recently teaching your 13 yr old the dishes, I’m sure we’ll be re-teaching Ro one day π
