Just a few favorites to share this week with Andrea & Erika!
On Wednesday I shared an 18 month update on Ronald. A huge thanks to everyone who has sent love as we continue to transition to daycare, it has not been easy on Ro’s tender heart!
Over the weekend we got out for our first big bike trip as a fam! It was a perfect morning and felt so good to get out & active a bit to start our day. Ro loved playing on the playground after! Then that evening we went for a walk & trike ride with the whole pack 🙂
I can’t remember when or how I found Hannah of Han Made Goods but I’ve loved the hair accessories I’ve purchased from here! This was my latest haul from a recent sale she had. Scrunchies have been fun to rotate in & I feel like it takes my hair up a notch when I don’t do much to it most days.Â
My FAVE favorite this week is for sure Ron, he is truly the best Dad & Husband! This transition for me back to work on site & Ro to daycare has not been easy, I’m exhausted by the end of the day when I get home & Ro is just struggling with the adjustment of not being with us or at home 24/7 like he was for the last 5 months. Ron has been our solid foundation, he picks up what I can not & keeps his cool with Ronald through his many meltdowns and gets him calmed down. Meal times especially have been a battle and Ron has been able to get creative to get Ro eating.Â

I am sure the transition to daycare is just as hard (if not harder) for you guys.. I can’t imagine! I am sure he is well loved and cared for there, just takes some adjusting. Big hugs your way Mama!

Thank you Ashley! I knew it would be tough, wasn’t quite prepared for how tough though!

Your outdoor trip looks like so much fun. Bless Ron for balancing out the tough times w Ro and your adjustment to the “outside world”. You have often blogged what a great partner and husband/father he is. Is he still working from home or on-site too? I hope you have a great weekend.

Ron is still working from home. Which has also been a life saver, so he typically gets dinner at least started before Ro & I get home plus he can help pick up a little around the house during the day! Enjoy your weekend too Laurie 🙂

That’s great that Ron is able to help deal with Ro when he has tantrums. Dave has always been better at that than I am too.

It’s good to have the balance with a spouse when it comes to parenting!
